different location in the state of Kuwait
Job Description:
- coordinate with ministry maintenance department to plan/carryout maintenance routine and
nonroutine activities.
- Review all shop drawings and submittal for any new installations (switch gear, control panels,
HVCB, LVCB, lighting, UPS, Cathodic protection, Diesel generator, power transformers,
starter panels, AC motors )
- Responsible for testing, Troubleshooting and maintenance for protection relays such as
distance, Motor protection relay, overcurrent, earth fault, differential, unbalance, under/over
voltage, loss of excitation and under/over frequency.
- Design and submit any modification in the site and perform the risk management.
- Planning the Electrical Section Maintenance Schedule and troubleshooting activities.
- Manage/supervise maintenance team to Troubleshoot and maintain Electrical system in water
plants (pumping stations, RO, Underground wells, chemical plants and reservoirs).
- preparing daily/monthly reports for project management.
- Manage and supervise the department Quality control.
- preparing technical reports Using SAP program.
- preparing financial sheets according to project BOQ.

- Carry out operation procedure for starting up and normal operation of the boiler in a steam
turbine power plant and the Auxiliary system of Closed cooling, Condenser, water pumps …
- Carry out maintenance, troubleshooting and testing for 500/220/12 K.V Autotransformer.
- Carry out maintenance, troubleshooting and testing for 500 K.V and 220 K.V GIS (Gas
insulated substation) and switchgear.
- Carry out maintenance, troubleshooting and testing for 320 MW Siemens generator, 18 K.V
Main transformers and 6.6 K.V Auxiliary transformers.
- Responsible for engineering, Troubleshooting and maintenance for problems of Medium
voltage (6.6 K.V) and low voltage bus bars and protection relays.

- carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting of ( 110, 48, 220 ) Volt UPS system and
battery chargers.
- Ensure best collaboration among electrical staff and good correlation with other sections.
- Carry out installation and testing for 22/0.4 K.V transformers and making site test.
- Carry out installation and testing for switchgear 22 K.V with Vacuum circuit breakers.
- Carry out installation and testing for medium voltage and low voltage cables.
