responsibilities
o Interpret Project Contractual obligations and Scope of Work.
o Manage execution schedule preparation (Levels III, IV, & V)
o Resolve contractual disputes with respect to SOW interpretation.
o Review and revise weekly and monthly reports prior to official submissions.
o Manage deliverable produced by the engineering subcontractor to reflect SOW.
o Monitor the planned issue dates of project deliverable to obtain necessary Client’s approvals.
o Assist the Project Manager to ensure the quality requirements are fully met and the required deliverable are generated in compliance with the CONTRACT.
o Verify Change Order Requests and prepare respective technical and commercial proposals.
o Improve engineering design through collection of relevant data from procurement and construction departments for design input.
o Coordinate and ensure current information transfer between engineering office and site.
o Follow-up and supervise project materials/equipment supply in accordance with the CONTRACT and the approved delivery schedules.
o Provide Technical Support to the Commissioning Manager with respect to the input from Engineering and Vendors’ data.
o Manage the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals for new ITBs.
o Represent the company in project meetings and communicate with client’s involved departments with respect to the execution of the project and dispute resolution.
o Manage and approve execution schedules (Levels III, & IV)
o Verify Procurement and Construction Service Orders’ SOW and prepare commercial proposals.
o Follow-up and supervise project materials procurement in accordance to the CONTRACT and approved delivery schedules.
o Follow-up construction progress on daily basis; and facilitate prompt response to construction team requirements to ensure timely completion of the work as per approved execution schedule.
o Manage the project team to ensure that the quality requirements are fully met and the required deliverables are generated in compliance with the CONTRACT.
o Review and approve service orders’ milestone payments.
o Prepare project budgetary reports and plans to the management board.
o Oversee the overall project status and initial planning of upcoming service orders.

o Ensure the project work is executed according to the project plans

• Main activities and responsibilities Working as an EPCC & PCC contractor executing Projects aimed to implement upgrades for
existing (commissioned) facilities in six FPFs operated by Greater Nile Petroleum Operating
Company and connection of new surface facilities for Petro-Energy E&P (Sudan); my
responsibilities were:
o Follow-up Engineering progress and carryout site survey for technical information/updates.
o Coordination and assurance of information transfer between engineering office and the
project site.
o Procurement of Project Materials and equipment according to design requirements and
associated engineering material requisitions in all disciplines; including technical and
commercial evaluations and negotiations in accordance to the project budget plan.
o Follow-up and reporting to the client; the material delivery status.
o Follow-up and reporting to the project manager the material delivery status and coordination
o Tracing of site inspection reports and follow up with suppliers for rectifications.
o Preparation of technical/commercial appendix and finalization of Sub-contract agreements for
outsourced activities.
o Follow-up of construction activities, troubleshooting and coordination with the Engineering
office for technical field queries.
o Measurement, preparation and submission of Milestone payments to the client for approval.
o Preparation of milestone payment invoices and follow-up communications for payment
release.
Prepare project documentation requirements, communication, bidding proposals, sub-contract
negotiation, progress follow-up, claims preparation and reporting of all running projects.
Working as resident mechanical engineer during commissioning of the plant; main responsibility was to supervise commissioning activities, provide required technical and logistical support to put the plant in production and to ensure that machinery and equipment are working properly and to establish maintenance schedules based on equipment's service criteria and frequency of use.
