DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION
• Ensure the Security of Personnel, Assets and flows in Site.
• Assists and advises the General Manager in all Security matters and issues.
• Ensure the Global Security Plan inside the Site.
• Ensure the anticipation and management of the Security issues concerning the Site.
• The Security Manager is responsible to organize, lead and manage the Security department to provide comprehensive security support to the Site.
2. - TASKS & ORGANISATION
-Ensure prevention, anticipation of risks, threats and issues with local information and intelligence connections,
-Keep a weekly log of « threat intelligence » for the zone,
-Organize, coordinate and plan security resources, including but not limited to escort planning,
-Prevent from fraud, corruption, theft, trafficking, malicious acts,
-Survey and control the drafting emergency response plan & evacuation plan,
-Survey and control the drafting of Security Plans & Standard Operating procedures and keep up to date,
-Draft information literature: notes, handbook, and reminders.
-Draft instructions and procedures (for sites, itineraries, etc.)
-Keep a weekly report.
-Supervise interface between security Management and Local forces.
-Ensure that the permanent localization of expatriate workers is safe and secure.
Assists and advises Site GM in Security matters and issues.
Ensure the Global Security Plan implementation within Orascom premises
Ensure the anticipation and management of the Security issues concerns
Organize, lead and manage the Security department to provide the proper comprehensive support.
Promote and develop a strong culture oriented towards continuous improvement and ensure adherence and to comply with policy and regulation.
Task and Organization
Ensure prevention, anticipation of risks, threats and issues with local information and intelligence connections,
Maintaining log of « threat intelligence ».
Organize, coordinate and plan security resources, including but not limited to escort planning
Survey and control the drafting emergency response plan & evacuation plan
Survey and control the drafting of Security Plans & Standard Operating procedures and keep up to date

Liaise between security Management and Local forces.

Training
Provide Awareness Training starting from meet & greet briefing
Supervise periodical training program of staff.
Leading and supporting state security investigations within department.
Setting and implementing security and evacuation plans for the vital
facilities, hotels and VIPs within the Giza govern orate.
Chairing the crisis management events
Evaluating and supervise all other police department security plans.
Liaison with all other security department governmental and non-governmental.
Manage information relevant to security, including collection, collation, analysis and dissemination, to be used as a decision-making and planning tool by the UN Designated Official (DO) and Security Management Team (SMT) in a country to enhance the safety and security of UN personnel, assets and operations in the country.

VIP protection 1-Personal protection of VIPs 2-Planning and execution of protection for high-level visitors 3-Responsible for coordinated personal protection operations for principal 4-Remain vigilant and alert within the proximity of the principal at all times and acts accordingly 5-Coordinate all activities with relevant parties and other appropriate security organizations as required 6-Prepare risk assessment for the VIP and update it continuously according to the change of the security situation 7-supervise the police officers in the unit 8-ensure that the unit have all the logistic needs to accomplish the duties tasked for 9-prepare training plan for the unit 10-coordinate with the focal security points while travelling to other country to prepare risk assessment for the Principle to prepare the security plan during the time of the meeting 11-Formulating &updating of SO
