Handled Projects: Al-Jouhara Package (Al-Jawad, Al-Jouhara, Al-Shallal and Quwaizah East 110/13.8 Kv Substations at Jeddah)
Ensures the MEP Project's requirements, as detailed in the Technical Specifications, SEC & International standards for all construction work are met.
Review and understand engineering drawings and specifications for construction control purposes.
Lead the construction works to deliver the highest standard of product.
Supervise the installation activities and conduct inspections as per approved ITP.
Make decisions in accordance with construction plans and specifications and procedures.
Coordinate activities for timely delivery of mechanical equipment.
Coordinate and review of key deliverables including but not limited to BOQ, FAT, Data Sheets, Drawings, Calculations, O&M Manuals, Inspection and Test Plans.
Coordinating Client Comments on the above deliverables and ensuring they are incorporated.
Comply client comments on all constructed system.
Submit technical documentation & reports in time.
SEC Site Mech. Engineer / SEC Representative at SEC Extra High Voltage Project Department (EHVPD)
at Saudi Electricity Company Through Palace Consulting Engineers.
Location: Saudi Arabia.
• Check and verify the accuracy, quality of materials and work at site for all MEP (HVAC, Firefighting and fire Alarm and Plumbing), Structural (GIB and Gantry) and Overhead Crane. All should be as per approved shop drawings, project specifications and relevant engineering codes and Standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, DW 144, NFPA, UPC, IPC, SEC, PTS etc.) as in Bulk supply point (BSP) substations.
• Electro-Mechanical building services include HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning), Fire Fighting (FM200, NOVEC, CO2 Fire Suppression, Sprinkler, Fire Hydrant system etc.) Electrical (Fire Alarm system, Control panels), Plumbing system along with Submersible Pumps and Drainage system, Over Head Crane in Gas Insulated substation (GIS) halls.
• Check and review the Electro-Mechanical and Structural Method of Statements, Factory
Acceptance Test certificates (FAT), Inspection Test Plan (ITP), Technical submittals and Base Designs,
Project Quality Control plan, QA/QC records, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning reports.
• Attend all MEP Inspections Request for installation and test in all buildings
• Perform work inspection with QA/QC, Mechanical and electrical coordinator and give the required comments for Request for Inspection (RFI) and Request of Material (RMI) for finished work for
all Electro-Mechanical works and structural work.
• Witness the testing and commissioning for all MEP services and equipment.
• Inspect all the material equipment delivery at site and assure that all to be as per the
approved material selection and project specification.
• Daily surveillance and monitoring for the development of the work at site and submit
weekly and monthly progress report.
• Resolve any related Construction or Engineering site issues.
• Coordinate to Engineering, Construction and to Project Management team.
• Issue site Instructions (SI) and NCR to the Contractors for any non-compliance or discrepancy.
• Report directly to the Team Lead.

Operation and maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment at Saudi Telecom Company technical exchanges
• Ensure project start-up and spare parts requirements
• Lead mechanical equipment major inspections and overhauls.
• Ensure compliance with standards, specifications, safety, maintenance and schedule requirements.
• Manage teams for preventive & corrective maintenance.
• Making monthly plans for preventive maintenance.
• Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports of maintenance.
• Technical support to for trouble shooting if required.
• Frequent visits to sites to make sure the quality of preventive maintenance.
• Supervision of electro-mechanical equipment installation process if any of it needs to replace.
Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning
• Duct System Design following SMACNA & DW 144 Codes, Supervision of duct fabrication and Installation of the Duct work.
• Selection of Blowers, Chillers, ACUs, FCUs and all accessories.
• Preparation of materials submittals for Consultant Approval.
• Air-conditioning Systems, pre-commissioning and commissioning works of Chillers, Package and Split units.
• Chilled water pipe and pump design and pump head calculations, selection of chilled water pumps, preparation of Drawings for A/C equipment’s, accessories and installations.
• Coordination with workers regarding assembling of components and make sure that electrical controls installed properly.
• Maintaining documents, record of work carried out.
• Review of the updating submittals and drawings.
• Guiding Auto-CAD Draftsman for preparing Ducting drawing as per consultant approval.
PLUMBING (Water supply & Drainage)
• Workshop Drawing and material submittal Preparation.
• Pump Head calculations, Pump, water Heater and sanitary items selection, loading Unit Calculations & Pipe Sizing, Materials, Fittings and Valves quantity take off and Execution of Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Water supply Pipeline.
• Drainage Pipe Line, Storm Water Pipeline, Water Tank, Water Heater, Booster Pump, Transfer Pump, Sump Pump and controls etc.
