Head Of Premises / change department ( Barclays Egypt ), Reporting to Premises & Distribution Expansion Program Head, and responsible for:
• Program formulation, assess fit of projects, measurement and ensure delivery and achievement of business benefits.
• Develop and implement local programs policy .
• Liaise with Project Managers to ensure projects are coordinated and sequenced as a whole and dependencies between projects are identified and managed.
• Consolidate overall performance indicators across a wide range of projects.
• Ensure individual projects delivered against plans, on time with agreed level of quality, within budget and schedule.
• Develop progress tracking mechanisms to monitor progress on the BBE project portfolio.
• Attend regular project steering committee meetings.
• Resolve issues raised by Project Managers, and escalate issues which cannot be resolved to the accountable Executive or Steering Committee and further escalate critical issues to Managing Director where necessary.
• Provide coaching and consultancy support to all Project Managers and ensure that all Project Managers receive appropriate training to deliver projects to standard.
• Ensure that Barclays Project Management standards are applied effectively on all Projects and that projects use appropriate management and control systems.
• Promote and increase Project Management awareness .
• Ensure the selection of Project Managers is carried out using the defined competency framework and involvement in the selection process to confirm suitability in consultation with the Accountable Executive.
• Carry out adhoc Project Health Checks as required and recommend action.
• Act on behalf of the Executive in the implementation of the business change plans and produce/maintain an overall Program Plan of activities.
• Disseminate and assess best practice, information and feedback to enhance continuous business improvement.
