 Reviews the purchase requisition to make sure that all quality and inspection requirements for the purchase materials are included in the requisition.

 Reviews quality procedures and ITPs submitted by the vendor(s) and ensures that those are in line with the requirements of the project specification and relevant codes and standards.
 Issue the Vendor Shop Inspection Report (VSIR) to the Vendor/Supplier Quality Manager and ensure the comments fulfillment, then issue the final report to the Procurement, Logistics, and Engineering departments.
 Update the VSI plan according to the identified Inspection Milestones submitted by the suppliers.
 Record the Vendor/Supplier qualification by submitting the Subcontractor/Vendor Prequalification Assessment Report.
 Monitors and coordinates witnessed inspection and testing activities and ensure it is effectively and efficiently carried out through the inspection report review.
 Closely monitors and ensures that PQP is effectively implemented. Takes immediate actions to address quality issues.
 Controls non-conformities, conduct root cause analysis and takes remedial actions.
 Coordinates with inspection agencies for the provision of vendor inspectors and their assignments.
