 Currently handling the contract migration case responsible handling all the negotiations with the different governmental authorities for changing the contract structure from the service contract to a production sharing agreement;
 Handling the new venture opportunities in Mexico including the prequalification process, the technical, financial, and economic review of the opportunities
 Responsible for establishing the commercial, financial and administrative procedures of the new company, as well as the policies and procedures to ensure proper integration for the head office in Cairo as well as following the rules and regulations of the host country. This included:
o Interviews and recruitment with qualified personnel to join the company;
o Retaining legal and tax advisors for the operations;
o Coordinating with the head office for completing the company’s local policies and procedures; and
o Establishing a reporting system with the head office.
 Handling the procurement department including the final negotiations with different suppliers on the prices and contractual terms
 Establishing Human Resource Department. This included:
o Hiring necessary staff to carry out the operation;
o Drafting of complete employee handbook with all the policies of the group after making sure that these policies do not contradict with the local laws and regulations; and
o Establishing the organization structure to ensure proper integration and control with head office

 Assisted the company in realizing its plans for international expansions. This included:
o Review of the international market to determine which markets would be more suitable for realizing and utilizing its core competencies;
o Review of the fiscal model for target countries oil and gas’ operations and reflecting the terms to arrive to the fair value for our investments;
o Mandate the appropriate advisors (legal, technical and financial) to properly assess the investment opportunity;
o Coordinate the efforts between the working team to perform a complete valuation with sensitivity matrix to determine the proper valuation ranges
o Managed the retained advisors to thoroughly cover all related risks of such investment opportunities;
o Post the award assisted the company on the establishment of its legal entity. This included a review of the possible legal structure for the incorporation of its company and a full pros and cons analysis of the different options available;
o Assisted on developing the organizational structure for the new operations to insure proper control and integration with the head quarters; and
o Assisted the company in developing the organizational structure of the newly formed entity.
 Investment Opportunity Analysis: responsible for analyzing different investment and joint venture opportunities that are presented to the company both externally and internally to make sure of the efficient allocation of funds to maximize both the company’s NPV and IRR;
 Restructuring and Positioning the Company: assisting and advising the company on the optimal financial and legal structure possible aiming towards maximizing the value of the company’s stakeholders. This process includes regular meetings with investment banks and other advisors to insure that the company is up to date with the latest developments in the Oil and Gas market as well as being perfectly positioned towards value maximization;
 Negotiating terms of engagement of other advisors and managing them to insure that the company’s objectives are addressed correctly and in a timely fashion; and
 Business Plan Development: Consolidating all the field development plans for the company’s assets into a full fledged model through which the financial statements of the company are projected for the next five years. This process enables the company to effectively manage its available resources as well as to source any anticipated cash shortfalls. This exercise is also used to assist the company in managing its hedging agreements for the aim of minimizing Oil and Gas price risk
