Duties include initiating & following up on all Project Management tasks in the luxurious projects of Telal North Coast, Telal El Sokhna & Stone Park Kattameya, in addition to new projects. Responsibilities include Planning, Cost Control & Budgeting, Procurement (Tendering & Purchasing), following up on Design phases and Execution.

Duties: Setting the strategy of the planning department, interviewing and hiring planning & cost control staff, leading a team of professional planners to develop the master time schedules for different projects, cash flow projections, progress reporting, analyzing delays, raising flags & recommending corrective actions and resolving claims.
Planning Manager for the Central Project Services in the Lagoons project, Dubai.
Duties: Planning for Central Services items (temporary buildings, site offices, logistics, fencing, boundaries allocation, hoardings, HSE, security, reclamation, lagoon flooding, roads & infrastructure and facilities management), producing procurement & construction time schedules fully loaded with resources identifying the project requirements and illustrating the project progress status, issuing progress reports focusing on delays, areas of concern, recommending corrective actions needed to meet contractual milestones.

Duties: Setting the strategy & the organization chart of the company, completing all the vacant positions by interviewing & hiring the suitable candidates, following up on ALL project management activities, tenders, quotations, contracts, time Schedules, procurement, submittals, progress reporting, cost control, following up on projects execution and business development in UAE and Gulf Region. Planning Manager for the project of Dubai Airport Expansion, Concourse II, Terminal III & Car Park.
Duties: Setting the strategy of the planning department, completing all the vacant positions in the planning department by interviewing & hiring new junior and senior planning engineers for the Airport project & other Laing O’Rourke’s projects in Dubai, consolidating the programs of the different Airport packages and issuing the project overall completion Program, following up & reporting the construction progress, leveling the resources to overcome delay impacts on project milestone dates, conducting planning & primavera sessions to planners, construction managers and site engineers.
(Aug 03 - Jun 04) Senior Planning Engineer for The Palm Jumeirah infrastructure project, Arabian Gulf, Dubai.
Duties: Performing ALL the planning, project controls and follow up works for the infrastructure networks of the Palm Island Crescent (networks covered were potable water, storm water, irrigation, sewerage, electrical power distribution, telecommunications, gas, roads & paving and street lighting), structural works of 12 km retaining wall, irrigation tanks and pumping stations, producing & updating the project master time schedule using Primavera, allocating resources to identify the project requirements of material, equipment and manpower, assuring the control on production rates & resources availability through producing histograms and S-Curves for planned and actual figures, issuing progress weekly & monthly reports.
(May 03 - Aug 03). Project Planner for the Off Shore Kashagan East Field Development “D-Block” Project, Caspian Sea, Kazakhstan (JV with Royal Boskalis)
Duties: Applying ALL the previously mentioned planning tasks & techniques for the construction of an artificial island in the Caspian Sea for oil exploration purposes (operations planned and controlled were reclamation, sheet piling, Geomembrane works, drainage works and pre cast works).
Project Controls Engineer in the project of constructing the new branch of Arab Bank, down town Cairo.
-Duties: preparing all the tendering documents, performing all the procurement tasks, ALL planning & cost control works, studying & analyzing all claims, producing the master time schedule using Primavera, following up on site progress, producing inclusive daily, weekly & monthly progress reports, coordinating among contractors, consultant & project execution manager, issuing ALL invoices, performing ALL contractual duties; following up on letters of guarantee, technical & contractual submittals, quality control & safety plans and insurance policies.
Area Planning Engineer in Mubarak TV Studio Complex - Media Production City project.
Duties: Full responsibility of ALL planning works in the Technical Operations Center (TOC) area, producing the master time schedule using Primavera, following up on site progress (room by room) & updating progress, coordinating between the company & subcontractors and among subcontractors, controlling the construction process through producing resource count charts, productivity graphs & reports, reporting to project manager, production manager, construction manager, planning manager & area manager.
Execution Manager responsible for the Execution of 4 projects located in down town Cairo (13 story residential building), Sharm El Skeikh (Queen Sharm Concrete Walkway & Floating Marina), El Sokhna (El Hegaz Oasis CPNS & Marina), and Hurghada (Coral Beach Shore Protection & CPNS).
Duties: Full responsibility of ALL office (project management, planning, cost control, procurement) and site works (excavation, dewatering, pile foundations, pile caps, footings, structural skeleton, block works, insulation, plastering, MEP & finishes).
