Due to massive Turnaround preparation for the plant, Management decided to rotate existed Warehouse Supervisor to Procurement department to support existing procurement officers in executing rush orders, also I have assigned to be acting as warehouse supervisor till closing out phase of TAR in Oct 2017.
After a successful turnaround, our assignments are completed and all returned back to old duties.

Main assignment responsibilities:
- Review and ensure all procedures are in place.
- Ensure safe environment for all related warehouse activities.
- Be a part of turnaround team to facilitate purchase requisitions are in place and to reserve some of existing spare parts for TAR activities.
- Ensure all consumables & PPEs are ready for TAR activities.
- Ensure smooth receiving process for rush received orders.
- Track all TAR orders and ensure that all stakeholders are informed with POs arrival notice for inspection.
- Ensure smooth transfer of material from main warehouse to TAR warehouse.
- Ensure fatigue rest plan in place for all warehouse personnel starting from TAR start in beginning of July17.
- Follow up all inventory management plans are in place.
- Ensure all receiving, issuing, replenishment & count are updated in ERP system on daily basis.
- Recruitment of new warehouse operator and some warehouse helpers.

Main Achievement :
- Recruitment additional stuff successfully
- Supervise constructing of new warehouse from scratch.
- Material availability for turnaround on time
- Zero loss time injury
- Zero stock variance after completing TAR activities.

Maintain adequate stock levels, Stock replenishment using reorder reports and analyzing inventory movement through:
1- Trend, monitor, and recommend stock levels and categorizing items through ABC analysis, critical and priority levels.
2- Develop and ensure compliance with warehouse procedures
3- Maintain the integrity of the capital and consumable inventory assets by planned inventory stock counts schedules.
4- Report and review the inventory valuation, inventory turnover, slow moving/fast moving items, stagnant items and others.
5- Track, review, follow, and expedite urgent/delayed shipments (expedite goods readiness, shipping & Clearance dates.
6- Review and track the status of all stock purchase requisitions on weekly basis.
7- Assist in the development and implementation of Inventory Policies, work instruction and Procedures.
8- Ensure excellence in relationship building between Methanex, vendors, and contractors.
9- Supervise daily activities of warehouse to ensure safe and efficient storage and retrieval of district supplies.
10- Supervise receipt of all shipments during receiving process and to report any discrepancy as NCR.
11- Co-ordinate with finance to finalize any write-off transaction or disposal of existing stock items.
12- Reviewing Min/Max application monthly for movable items and semi-annually for all stock items under inventory module.
13- Ensure item description, tag no., part numbers of all stock items to be updated on system.
14- Supervise moving/Transfer inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment, including fork lift, pallet jack.
15- Initiate all purchase requests to keep stock items available at all times.
16- Maintain catalog of all items available in warehouse.
17- Evaluate complaints received on shipments of equipment and supplies and take appropriate action.
18- Participate in budget development and exercise budgetary control over warehouse operations.
19- Review and edit the Material Master database for fields related to Inventory module.
20- Assist in vendor evaluation process with Procurement.
21- Optimize space of warehouse through monthly check physical location and supervise transfer of materials manually and through operating system.
22- Ensure that Min/Max application is applied to all stock items inside all related stores.
23- Support maintenance department with all related shutdown & turn around spares and consumables to avoid stock run out.
24- Reviewing all movement transaction on daily basis to ensure that urgent items to be ordered on time.
25- Conduct safety TBT on weekly basis to ensure and increase safety awareness with warehouse team.
26- Ensure that PR tracking, delayed and urgent orders to be reviewed on weekly basis with procurement team .
27- Ensure that consistent filing/archiving system is updated for all warehouse related documents.
28- Manages and monitors chemical actual consumption rates versus budgeted rates and report any deviation on monthly basis with technical and oprtation stakeholders to secure running of business and to avoid long lead time for GE chemical orders.
29- Develops daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports as required by the Department.
30- Ensure safe handling in place for all activities inside all stores.
31- Supervise bi-weekly warehouse inspection as building and review any related or pending work requests with maintenance.
32- Apply PR consolidation to gain maximum cost saving by reviewing all materials related to same vendor then to be consolidated through one PR using economic order quantity approach.
33- Ensures effecting processes are in place to achieve governance of material master
34- Ensure there are no duplicate items under same stock code to prevent stock duplication.
35- Review all items having expiry dates to secure the availability of stock whenever required.
36- Training and development clear plan for all warehouse team at beginning of year and supervise implementation with HR.

Duties
1- Responsible for maintaining acceptable and accurate inventory levels
2- Report shortages, overages and all inventory levels for replenishment to process ensures continued operations and avoids product or inventory shortages
3- Responsible for classifying, labeling and warehousing all inventory for future use
4- Must keep accurate records of inventory levels and location for easy retrieval. This is critical in keeping the department organized and efficient
5- Responsible for communicating with all department managers and purchasing on inventory levels and locations
6- Must maintain a record of all transfers and disposal
7- Implement and follow a control system to reduce damage, breakage and inventory obsolescence.
8- Assisting in the receiving and shipping department in logging all incoming inventory purchases. The employee must complete physical inventory counts as required by company policy
9- Must reconcile the inventory records for a complete and accurate count. Proper and accurate inventory policies helps deter theft and inventory misuse.

Give hand in Supervising the supply work of the following:
Spare parts - Chemicals - Fuel Stations - Magazine - Explosives - construction equipments and tools - Consumables .
The company’s warehouse and stores cover an area of 25 square kilometers.
Items:
Spare parts of Heavy Duty Equipments:-Drilling and blasting equipments - Equipments of Mining Operations (excavator - Dump trucks - Loader - Grader - Dozer- forklift varied sizes - Cranes - service trucks (MAN) and Light units like Jinotrat and light vehicles.
The spare parts of the plant:
Spare parts of the crusher, Mills, CIL tanks, grinding media, pumps, motors, wires, filters, welding stuff and safety tools.
Chemicals including:
Sodium Cyanide, Pax, Potassium nitrates, Quick Lime, Activated Carbon, HCL c, Caustic soda and some other chemicals.
Fuel Stations:
4 Fuel Stations
