Risk Management Role: Implementing Enterprise Risk management (ERM) across AOIC, which covers all departments and activities, and identifying major risks & corresponding controls and Management Appetite towards risks. Risk Management Dept. revisit, reassess risks regularly, and amend the framework accordingly, and prepare the financial reporting templates and the budgeting/ forecasting templates along with the assumptions reports.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Financial Statements Preparation (ORACLE System).
- Preparing the Quarterly Financial Reporting templates & quarterly rolling forecast for the Parent Company GULF Insurance Group Kuwait (GIG).
- Preparing the Long Range Budget Plan (5 years Plan) for AOIC, reported to GIG & KIPCO holding.
- Preparing Management Financial Commentary Reports. (Analysis of P&L and G&A Expenses)
- Following up the risks log for all operations.
- Prepare Risk assessment Report (with full presentation).
- Presentation to the executive committee with Risk Management / Corporate Governance findings and recommendations.
- AOIC Compliance Officer/ Corporate Governance Officer.
- Project Manager for the International Rating Agency (A.M Best) rating ( Member of Rating Committee).
- Supervising Accounting Department's Daily transactions.
- Planning, controlling and monitoring all employees and actions in my department.
