• Review and evaluate design deliverables to ensure build ability and compliance, liaising with the design team and specialist suppliers on design related issues.
• Coordinate Project team comments and resolve any design related construction queries with the Design team.
• Ensure that all Design Intent are reviewed to establish they are within budget, are fully coordinated and are buildable.
• Consult, liaise and coordinate with the Client and the Engineer to prepare design proposals, specifications and frequent technical reports in line with the assigned budget.
• Develop and implement standards and technical procedures for the design and engineering activities performed in the department i.e. Value Engineering, composite drawings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitoring and reviewing the Shop Drawings ensuring to be fully coordinated with all of the engineering activities directed towards the development of conceptual, detailed project design, participating in the process of design reviews and implementation of independent design checks and constructability reviews.
• Leading a team work of Architects, Structural, MEP Engineers and Draftsmen in the project and managing the production of the multifarious shop drawings, ensuring they are in compliance with the design and Client / Consultant's requirements.
• Problem solver with capabilities to identify discrepancies, contradictions, uncoordinated Design Drawings and resolve the issues accurately through the work shop meetings and RFI’s (Request for Information).
• Follow up with the execution team for constructability of proposed details prior to issuance to the Engineer / Consultant and resolve issues related to design and coordination across the project.
• Highlighting any design changes and the variation to the IFC which are impacting the shop drawings and issuing the letters to the PMC for substantiating the claim of the abortive works.
• Coordinating and Overseeing the Architectural services with Structural and MEP disciplines complied with design guidelines and contract terms through facilitating and leading coordination workshop meetings.
• Reviewing and approval of sample boards and mock-up units prior to the submission of the same to the client/consultant.

• Designed new types of Villas for Fountain Park Compound (110 Villas) and Residential buildings for Hay El- Baron (100 residential towers, Mall, Recreation and Amusement Area). ي
• Assisted in designing CABANA Hotel at El-Quser City and Coral Sea Hotel at Sharm El Shikh City.
• Overseen and guided design consultants through the design process including conducting design reviews for completeness and constructability monitoring and verifying progress and timely submissions at all design phases.
• Designed the Interior Design Package for the spaces in the hotel.
• Ensured project design documents were completed and adequately maintained.
• Ensured smooth communication between the consultants and contractors.
