RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for all consolidated Logistics and Warehouse operations, in addition delivering products more than 15, 000 SKU’s to market through effective route planning, cost optimization, and the adequate placement of personnel and assets throughout the regions
• Providing Warehouse, Logistics and Customer Service for key accounts including Mars, Reckitt Benckiser, L’Oréal, Americana, among others and food chains such as Fuddruckers, Chilis, Cinnabon, KFC, Hardees, Burger King among others
• Managing a complete Oracle WMS/ RFID Technology enabled 6 MLS warehouses 40, 000 pallet positions with an inventory value of approximately SR 125 million
• Coordinating a diverse fleet of frozen, chilled and dry delivery vehicles, overseeing repair and maintenance in addition to managing 3 PL vehicles for delivering product to market
• Solely responsible for managing regional P&L and operating under a budget of SR. 40millions for both Warehouses and Transportation in the regions
• Coordinating warehousing and transportation for dry and cold chain processes, including frozen, chilled and cool products, and ensuring the quality standards for customers and principal requirements are sufficiently met
• Managing, monitoring and reporting accurate inventory levels by ensuring daily, weekly and monthly cycle and physical stock counts as per company finance and auditor requirements
• Developing a warehousing and transportation operational dashboard, including key performance indicators which assist with the process of standardizing operations and allowing benchmark comparisons between the various warehouses in the region
• Managing an overall staff complement of 300, actively involved with HR in the establishment of processes, development and training needs, planning of labor requirements and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance
• Identifying and preparing future warehousing and transportation needs and designs for the region, based on target growth rate, expansion, customer demands and facility end-of-lease
