Accomplishments:
Working in Inventory department for several years now have
given me a firsthand experience of overall process of product
distribution. I have encountered many difficulties, solved it,
learned from it, and make sure that it will never happen again by
implementing new processes. Creating a different kind of tracker
and monitoring reports are some of the examples which are very
effective. Incorporating the new ideas, the department is now
using a reliable process which covers everything, making the
distribution to always run smoothly.
Responsibilities:
• Release new shipments and allocates stock to 16 UAE stores
and 9 overseas stores.
• Manage team of 2 assistant IC’s and guide on the distributions
and replenishment process.
• Independently manage the complete mattress procurement and
supply process.
• Monitor and supervise activities of other inventory controllers.
• Strictly follow all the inventory related guidelines set as per
company policy and report to management in case there is any
deviation.
• Implement price revisions and discounting on the floor as and
when advised by buying and retail team.
• Answer to all kinds of queries from Inventory Controllers,
Customer Service in stores.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports for stores.
• Generate case specifics reports for Inventory Controller Manager.
• Monitors last pieces, order cancelled items in Warehouse.
• Creates local purchase order and communicate to the suppliers.
• Reserve and release stock when required for Catalogue and
Corporate orders, etc.
• Participate in stores annual stock count.
