Project description: The Bank of Zambia was established to take over from the Bank of Northern Rhodesia on the 7 August 1964 although its Act was only passed in June 1965. The Bank started operations with about 100 staff organized around only two departments, namely the Chief Cashier or General Manager's department and the Secretary's department.
Role: As a Technical consultant my responsibility was to develop custom PL/SQL Validations for validating SIT's from self-service page and a Generic PL/SQL package.

Project description: LT (Land Thuringen Germany) implementing public sector compensation structure. Role: As a Technical consultant my responsibility was to: 1. Integration of Employee payments with Finacle (Core banking application of Infosys)

Project description: Bank of Uganda is the central bank in Uganda. With Oracle payroll previously implemented, the major pain area was to key in HR related data multiple times - into Oracle HR for payroll purposes and again into multiple legacy systems that maintained different parts of employee data
Role: As the offshore technical consultant, I was instrumental in design and development of the HRMS Suite so as to seamlessly integrate with Oracle Payroll. He was also involved in development of custom Oracle Discoverer reports and Oracle Alerts specific to BOU.

Project description: The project involved migrating objects from 11.5.9 to 11.5.10. The objects from the 11.5.9 production server were required to be compliant with 11.5.10 On Demand.
Role: As a technical consultant I was responsible for: 1. Upgrading 11.5.8 objects to 11.5.10. Replacing DML operations, not acceptable by On-Demand standards, with APIs
2. Moving objects from multiple custom schemas to a single custom schema.
3. Identifying deviations as a result of DML operations on standard tables and finding workarounds/APIs and ensuring On-Demand Compliance.
4. Testing and fine-tuning all concurrent programs so that they pass the On Demand Standards.
5. Creating installation script to install the objects on the server.
6. Preparing technical design (MD70), installation documents (MD120) for all the objects.

Bank of Zambia - HR and Payroll Currency Rebasing
Project description: Bank of Zambia acts as a central bank for Zambia, to formulate and implement monetary and supervisory policies that achieve and maintain price stability and promote financial system stability in the Republic of Zambia.
The Bank intends to rebase the Zambian Kwacha by dividing the value by 1000 and to update the currency code to ZMW from the existing code of ZMK in HCM and Payroll, and implement the new currency by the 1 January 2013.
The following currency switches were in scope: ➢ Rebase all ZMK currency by dividing it by 1, 000 in the already implemented Oracle HCM and Payroll modules.
➢ Update the currency code with ZMW from ZMK
➢ Modify the needed values. Temporary and non custom tables, if any, holding old 'ZMK' related values will be updated to 'ZMW' related values.

Features: ➢ Best branches for shipping the items from will be identified and displayed to the user along with transit time and cost and on hand availability.
➢ A Matrix is provided to capture end customer information for the orders. Using this user can capture information's for multiple order lines or for a single line or mass update the information for all the lines form a single interface.
➢ Changes in pricing are captured and highlight on affected order lines. User can view the effected price adjustments in an adjustment comparison screen.
➢ User can view and release Holds from this workbench.
➢ Copy and cancel features are enabled in this workbench.
➢ Reports like, item History, Item Availability, Item reservations etc are included in the same workbench and can be opened from the tool bar option.
➢ A quote report can be easily opened from the same screen which can be mailed / shipped to customer immediately for reference/approval.
