Bank of Zambia - HR and Payroll Currency Rebasing
Project description: Bank of Zambia acts as a central bank for Zambia, to formulate and implement monetary and supervisory policies that achieve and maintain price stability and promote financial system stability in the Republic of Zambia.
The Bank intends to rebase the Zambian Kwacha by dividing the value by 1000 and to update the currency code to ZMW from the existing code of ZMK in HCM and Payroll, and implement the new currency by the 1 January 2013.
The following currency switches were in scope: ➢ Rebase all ZMK currency by dividing it by 1, 000 in the already implemented Oracle HCM and Payroll modules.
➢ Update the currency code with ZMW from ZMK
➢ Modify the needed values. Temporary and non custom tables, if any, holding old 'ZMK' related values will be updated to 'ZMW' related values.
