Overview of Responsibilities:

•Accounts Receivable:

◦Accurately process and post incoming payments to correct accounts, processing deposits, issue debit / credit memos, resolve customer billing issues in a timely manner, adjust accounts as necessary, perform invoicing.
◦Process invoices, and reconcile subsidiary ledger to general ledger.
◦Manage A/R aging, receiving and making telephone calls related to outstanding or overdue accounts, auditing accounts and resolving discrepancies.
•Accounts Payable:

◦Compiling and maintaining accounting records for payable system, review invoices and statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of information, properly code and review invoices, ensure appropriate authorization and terms for payment, and reconcile, process and post invoices/payments in subsidiary ledger.
◦Assist finance/accounting area with end-of-month accruals and documentation, and administration of the Vendor Master File documentation and preparation of annual 1099 processing.
•Payroll:

◦Responsible for the preparation and processing of biweekly payroll: review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets, responsible for the coordination of payroll information between human resources, and accounting departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data, establish/maintain employee records; ensure that employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis; review changes for proper authorization and adherence to internal payroll policies, and assist accounting in reconciling of payroll accounts.
◦Provide quality customer service to all employees, resolving employee questions and problems in a timely manner.
