QA Engineer within our SPX Flow business, working as an integral part of the team, reporting to Service & Operations Manager and working closely with the team at all levels within the UAE and our wider business.
Instrumental in ensuring that SPX business units meet the requirements of customers and product lines and leading and implementing ISO standards, such as ISO:9001, ISO:14001 and ISO:18001, as required, both within Abu Dhabi and SPX Flow Service Centres in the region.
Responsibilities include reporting for customers to allow SPX to secure new business, updating registers and quality manuals as well as revising documents and calibration of SPX systems. Travel extensively not just to SPX Flow sites but also to meet with our customers at their own facilities.
Working in a fast paced, demanding environment exposed on a daily basis not only to senior level management, but working hands on with the shop floor technicians the range of product offered by SPX Flow.
Quality Control activities such as Material Receiving Inspection, Finished job inspection report also form an integral part of the day to day job.
Dimensional discrepancy reporting of rotating equipment also include in QA/QC responsibility.
Major Responsibilities include External Audit of 4 different Subcontractors, Preparation and Reviewing of Inspection Test Plan (ITP), checking the compliance of Method Statements with Construction and Commissioning.
Preparation of Level 1, Level 2 audit schedule.
To oversee all Quality assurance and Quality control activities for Multiple project covering Design/ Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Inspection/ Testing and Commissioning phases. Responsible for advising and guiding project line management on all Quality and verification activities and related technical matters. Responsible for Establishment, implementation, operation and maintenance of Quality Management System for project in accordance with applicable standard.
Management of Non conformity process, Implement corrective and Preventive action & monitor its effectiveness.
Conducting discipline audits for Electrical, Mechanical, Insulation, Painting, Operation, Commissioning etc.
Conducting Risk assessments and Root cause analysis.
Issuance of Surveillance CAR / NCR.
Preparing Audit Checklist, Audit Report, Monthly Quality Scorecard, Quality Metrics, OIL report updating.
Preparation and custodian of Project Quality Plan, Audit Procedure, Audit Schedule etc.
Handling of EPC subcontractors including Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC), Nasser S Al Hajiri (NSH), QCON, CB&I etc.
Experience in Quality Management in EPC and commissioning phases of oil and gas project.
Implementation of Quality Management System. Working closely with companies like Qatar Petroleum, Qatar Fertilizer Co, Ministry of Interior and all major Q- Companies in tendering and procurement of engineering items related to process.
Carried out site visits and full system audits to ascertain the compliance with the QMS requirements and Quality Plan.
Liasoned on technical issues with responsible personnels of highly Reputed Q-Companies in their engineering requirements.
Carried out vendor audits and FAT on operations of vendor to check the compliance.

26 months experience in US MNC as team leader heading operations of water treatment department. During this period has handled process related equipments like Reverse Osmosis, Ultra Filtration, Demineralisation and Multi column distillation units.
Co-audited and coordinated with HSE for Health, Safety and Environment ISO 14001 certification.
Effectively implemented Lean technologies and Six Sigma green belt projects in the plant.
Has visited industries like PHARMALAB, Gujarat for FAT of heat exchangers.
Completed successfully a project on HEAT TRANSFER EFFICIENCY OF BOILER at the facility and thereby increased the efficiency of the BOILER.
Responsibilities
Overall operation of Water Treatment Plant.
Carrying out internal audits for Operation, Health Safety and environment audits for the operational plant and to highlight gaps in the system from the STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE (SOP).
Reporting of NCs and CA/PA to the Operations Manager and Management Representative at site.
Have solely commissioned Softener units for pretreatment by eliminating all NCs’.
Preparation ofValidation documents for Softener and RO pretreatment unit.
Have headed the descaling operations and passivation of Water for injection Pipelines.
Worked closely with management for generation of Reports and submission of Production Department.
Closely monitored the steam consumption pattern.
Redesigned the steam lines to minimize losses.
Implemented preheater system to increasing heating efficiency of boiler and thereby increasing Steam: Fuel ratio.
