The Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) is a professional degree focused on developing a strong understanding of finance, accounting, taxation, economics, and business management. It provides both theoretical and practical knowledge of how financial systems work within an organization and helps students build the skills needed to handle accounting operations, budgeting, and financial planning. Throughout the course, I studied subjects such as Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Business Law, Corporate Accounting, Auditing, Income Tax, and Management Principles, which gave me a solid foundation to understand and manage different areas of business and finance. The B.Com program helped me improve my analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and record-keeping skills. It also taught me to use accounting software, Excel, and data analysis tools effectively for maintaining financial accuracy and decision-making. This qualification has prepared me to work confidently in fields such as accounting, finance, auditing, administration, and business operations, contributing to the financial stability and growth of any organization.
