Updating customers about their consignment status.
Ensure Nil outstanding payment.
Advising on documents for Export/ import for error free documentation.
• Receiving queries from customers/ Agents / counterpart.
• Identifying our scope of work in that particular query
For example: Cross trade, freight forwarding, cross trading, clearance, door delivery, DO issuance etc
• Price negotiation with shipping lines/airlines & quoting the best rates to clients/Agents.
• Shipment confirmation from customer/Agent with cargo readiness status
• Interacting with carriers regarding space & equipment availability
• Movement plan to pick up the goods & delivery schedule
• Preparing Shipping instructions, House Bill of Lading etc
• Sending pre-alert documents to our counterpart/ consignee.
• Giving daily updates to the customers/counterpart.
