Monitoring and Identifying EHS breaching's, provide expert advice to construction team upon breeching's and follow-up on EHS actions.
•Issue and check work permits, pre-start briefings and checklists, ensuring LOTO procedures, comply with company safety policies and procedures.
•Coordinate effectively during First Aid, Rescue and emergencies, Fire load calculation/ inspections and implementation of dynamic risk assessment as per work.
•Monitor and advice control measures for high-risk activities like testing and commissioning, pressure testing, excavation, tower crane/ hoists erection & dismantling, MWEP/ vehicle operations, confined space, work at heights, scaffold erection, hot works, lifting activities, structural works, façade works, MEP activities, confined space, COSHH activities, etc.
•Planning and organizing Trainings, TBT, prepare main & sub-contractors HSE coordination meetings, Emergency mock drills.
•Monitor and counsel subcontractors, Accident/ Incident/ Near miss investigation, Prepare daily / weekly / monthly EHS reports, monthly inspections for Plant and equipment's.
•Ensure welfare facilities are up to standard, Replace EHS Engineers during their absence.
•Support EHSE team to review MSRA, ensure SOP are followed and continuous improvement in HSE Management System.
Responsible for Quality Health Safety & Environment for Galvanizing, Painting and Guard rail manufacturing divisions of All Metals Industries LLC. Ensure HSE legal requirements are following. Daily inspection of workplace, tools, and equipment’s.
•Coordinates with different Authorities and Agencies for necessary approvals, inspections, and permits.
•Review IMS documents, conduct internal Audits and supervise in ISO audits, ISO upgradation and certification.
•Coordinate with the Corporate Client dealing and liaise with all government offices and service authorities to obtain necessary approvals.
•Conduct Tool Box Talks, identifying and monitoring hazards & high-risk activities and implementing control measures to prevent risks, prepare Risk assessments & Aspect impacts accordingly, Waste management, identifying the safety breaches, communicating safety issues with management, providing awareness training, implement appropriate control measures, reporting and documentations of Incidents/ Accidents/ Near miss, HSE monthly reports.
•Work permits, Safety inductions for newcomers/ visitors and contract workers.
•Arrange third party inspections and trainings, Conduct Safety drills. Periodic inspection of tools equipment’s, Lifting equipment’s, Firefighting equipment’s, First Aid box, welfare facilities etc. Implement necessary safety equipment’s, handling Hazardous waste disposals to Dubai Municipality.
•Coordinate with QC, Project, and Production department to ensure safe work environment available. Completing efficiently the extra assignments from management.
Ensuring all Health and Safety legislation and policies are following.
•Identifying hazards, implement control measures and ensure safe system of work. Preparing and monitoring accident, incident, near miss, ill health reports.
•Verify third party certificate for machineries, equipment’s. Closely monitor high risk activities.
•Manage and conduct training and toolbox talks.
•Carrying out periodic inspections of electrical and firefighting equipment’s. Conducting emergency response drills.
•Participate in safety inspections and survey. Maintain and track safety files.
Description: Provide general assistance to Health and Safety officer, Management of fire safety throughout the ship.
•Conduct inspections and investigations. Record inspections on all fire exits/ fire equipment and fire signs, fire doors and ensure fire exits are closed/escape routes are clear/unlocked and ready for use, Fire extinguisher are sealed and in correct location, Fire alarm area is clear and unobstructed, monitoring high risk activities like welding, painting, work at heights
•Reporting faulty emergency lighting/ fire alarm/ equipment’s.
•Crowd management during embarkation, disembarkation, and emergency drills, Participate in safety survey/ sampling and inspection.
