Commercial:-
• Develop and execute business strategy to maximize the profitability of assigned Brands and categories; plan and lead the execution of team’s goals and objectives and execute business strategy in line with company ethics and operating procedures
• Develop strategic partnership and relationships with the larger key vendors and take the lead in negotiating master deals
• Drive profitable sales and innovative product selection through maintaining strong partnerships with existing vendors and proactively sourcing new vendors/suppliers
• By Regular market and Competitor analysis understand the promotional strategies, campaigns, tools, media venues, etc; utilize knowledge and information to promote products and Pricing strategy. Understand Customer needs to increase the Business Share.

Financial:-
• Responsible for managing financials including Open-to-Buy planning and total Profit & Loss in all areas of responsibility, includes managing pricing, inventory control, net margin, vendor profitability and total profitability and Mark Downs
• Analyse sales data to identify key performance drives of sales performance and opportunities for expansion
• Manage the credit allowance process; negotiate deals with vendors to ensure its implementation
• Make sure that sales forecasts are adapted to the sales in order to achieve an optimal goods flow.
• Control expenses to meet budget guidelines and determine price schedules and discount rates

Operational:-
• Ensure product dominance as well as strong store presentation and a powerful visual trademark
• Partner with the Product Development and Sourcing teams to manage launch strategies for new and innovative products
• Involve and support in marketing and promotional strategy that is attractive, effective and clear and attracts customer needs and interests

PRODUCT MANAGEMENT:
• Source and select new product for the ongoing range and promotional needs of the business in line with the market place
• To establish a thorough product & market knowledge. Gaining a full understanding of the suppliers & competitors operating in the market place, identifying new product or market opportunities
• To select product ranges suitable from Hamleys Own Brand in line with the product range plan & within the agreed proposition/brand values
• Create and deliver a product strategy and plan the product range

PLANNING:
• To be responsible for line level planning & product selection, to produce a range plan in pre-agreed format for product areas in line with seasonal and trend demands.
• To develop a departmental strategy/plan in line with company proposition
• Produce initial product/range forecast for season and period within pre agreed budget
• To propose promotional activities working closely with marketing to ensure timely & successful launch
MANAGE MARGINS:
• To deliver forecasted sales and stock plans in line with range plans and company expectation
• To agree & deliver forecasted sales & profit (£/cash contribution) targets in line with range plan. Ensuring agreement with Head of B&P and buy-in from the Operational Team

SUPPLIER RELATIONS:
• Manage the relationship with the suppliers in order to maximize both margin and contributions to windows and promotions.
• To negotiate and manage supplier terms specifically price, quality, availability, rebates and marketing support whilst remaining competitive in the market place

Assets and Stock Management:
• Responsible for developing, maintaining and tracking all IRC assets and stock including ICT equipment, furniture, medical equipment, etc.
• Responsible for managing procurement of assets to ensure that high-quality assets are purchased, and are compatible with existing equipment and appropriate for intended use.
• Asset and budget reporting as required, including to HQ, donors, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in start-up of new offices - from concept to completion, within budget constraints.
• Processing orders and handling delivery of shipments including customs clearances and door to door delivery to IRC partners around the Middle East region
• Handling of all types for shipment (IT equipment, Furniture, Medical equipment, Medical Supplies, Pharmaceuticals products).
• Coordinate with warehouse officer on new ordering quantity, existing stock, and storage specification on all medical equipment and pharmaceuticals products.
• Prepare of monthly, semi annual and annual inventory and assets report.

Logistics Management:
• Fleet management.
• Focal point for all purchases in logistics department.
• Manage the vehicle pool, movement requests, vehicle scheduling.
• Prepare reports on logistics department for concerned parties.
• Manage and monitor all logistics concerning IRC international employees and guests.
• Manage logistics team

• Prepare all Purchasing report requested by the management.
• Execution and monitoring of all regular purchasing duties.
• Assist in managing and following up overseas orders.
• Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items between suppliers to ensure that all items are delivered to site/store on time.
• Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers.
• Plan and manage inventory levels of final products.
• Source for new parts, suppliers or sub-contractors when the need arises. Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items between suppliers (local and overseas).
• Conduct feasibility studies for foreign products, maintain and monitor pricing after delivery.
• Coordinate with the supply team concerning releasing products from customs.
