Offshore Installation Supervision
Able to take command and run a smooth operation in offshore facilities. As the Telecom Field Engineer, I have the ability to decide any initial step of sequences with regards to overall installation for indoor and outdoor activities on platform, and keeping the safety of all personnel, equipment and environment.
Responsibilities
• Ensure that all Company Policies and Procedures are communicated and understood by personnel on the multi wellhead platform activity
• Responsible for ensuring that all activities are reported / logged, for any investigation and lessons learned implemented.
• Coordinate and optimize company resources, human and material, in the pursuance of all activities performed in the Field in accordance with company policies to ensure the most economic and safe operation of facilities and, where appropriate, contracted services.
• Ensure that the relevant Health, Safety, Security and Environmental elements are executed. Promote a safety culture amongst all offshore personnel through formal and informal forums to ensure all safety items raised by the “12 Golden Rule”
• Ensure all field personnel are fully knowledge and competent for their respective job requirements
• Coordinate with Logistics, Marine and Facilities Operation.
• Overall responsibility for the complete installation process. Ensure the updating, distribution and implementation of procedures
• Ensure adherence Health & Safety Policy. Ensure of safety and environmental awareness for all personnel
• Report daily to the Telecom Supervisor and to communicate with the Facilities Operation representative
• Work with installation team to develop complete work scope for contractors
• Demonstrated leadership, qualities, skills in supervision and leads the engineering team
Health Safety Environment
Ensure that all activities during project execution are complying with the company HSE policy. It should be noted that each person has a responsibility for the safety and quality aspects of the work. Also conduct a regularly Contractor Safety Audit to ensuring to be compliance with Company’s safety standards, objectives, achievement and requirement.
• Incorporate the “Tool Box Meeting” process into all tasks, whether working alone or as part of a team
• Apply the “Last Minute Risk Assessment” process during the execution of planned tasks and daily operations. Ensure that subordinate personnel are properly trained in the “Last Minute Risk Assessment” process
• Approving authority for all requests for Permit to Work (PTW). Ensure that active PTW are understood and managed diligently
• Ensure that the Company HSE policies and other programs are communicated to and understood by all multi wellhead platform personnel
• Play an active part in the weekly meetings Company safety management systems
• Ensure that new arrivals receive a full safety briefing and induction on the multi wellhead platform
• Work in all phases and stages of telecommunication infrastructure and equipment installation.
• Trouble-shoot engineering problems and carry out the problem and find the solution.
• Must have strong leadership as team player, good interpersonal and communication skills, negotiation and conflict resolution
• Experience in infrastructure and equipment installation of telecommunication system, radio link, network integration.
• Progressive work experience in supervision roles, preferably in installation, start-up, field engineering.
Equipment :
Trunking Radio System used MPT 1427 from Team-Simoco Point to Point radio link used PTP-100 radio from Motorola Extended Radio Telephony used combined equipment between ZETRON-unit and VHF-Motorola Radio.
Descriptive Information :
- Make routine schedule for standby radio-technician at field
- Collect data from NMS database for make weekly and monthly report to Branch-Manager for about Operation & Maintenance activity record
- Monitoring trunking radio network via NMS for properly functioning of Radio Repeater
- Assist and close-deep communication with radio technician on-duty at field for monitor a problem with the system when it occurs
- Make decision for troubleshoot and get corrective maintenance for resolve the problem

Radio Modem ( MDS-4710 ), Radio Point to Point and Radio Point to Multi-point ( SRT-500 ) Telephony Cabling, LAN-Network Cabling

- Troubleshooting radio modem MDS-4710 at Gas-Well for Surveilance and Telemetry monitoring system
- Support Operation & Maintenance radio link SRT-500 for backbone LAN-Network on Remote Production-Field
- Support Operation & Maintenance telephony cabling to satisphy telephony problem on user end
- Support Operation & Maintenance network cabling to satisphy LAN-Network problem on user end
