In the summer training, I was working at Support and Development Department at Jeddah
Municipality. I was assigned as an assistant engineer. My duties were the following:
• Enhancing the productivity and performance for the employees by establishing and implementing Balanced Scorecard.
• Re-engineering the processes between the departments and citizens to improve the quality of service.
Completed a project that dealt with certain aspects of the problem of patients waiting time in a medical center. Initially, data were collected on the waiting times in the clinic’s queues. Having understood the system, a simulation model of the current situation in the clinic was developed and validated. The analysis of the developed model along with the collected data revealed an excessive waiting time in the diagnosing section of the clinic.
Hint :It was my senior project to fulfillment of the requirements for the Degree of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.

I worked in the quality Department and was assigned a Re-engineering Project which
involved the following duties:
• Mapping all the processes.
• Assessing the necessary of each activity that each process involves.
• Eliminating non-value added activity.
• Simplify and combine the value added activity.
• Propose alternative processes to the current ones.
