Job Responsibilities
Monitoring and ensuring that all architectural and structural engineering aspects of the project are carried out as per inspection plan/drawings/codes and specifications.
Provide regular reports to Resident Engineer, head office and clients.
Manage and resolve all engineering issues as they are risen by clients, authorities
Reviewing Shop drawings and material submittals submitted by the contractors.
Carrying out all the site inspection for structural and architectural aspects of buildings and ensuring compliance with the project specifications.
Liaising with the management of the various contractors to expedite submissions and approvals process.
Monitoring safety aspects when dealing with structural and architectural construction.
Monitoring contractor’s compliance with approved Quality Control Plan.
Providing reports on the progress of the project to the Resident engineer.
Maintaining full site records, including daily site diaries in an approved format, and formal monthly progress.
Performing and or evaluating tests confirming quality requirements by conducting thorough site inspection for all site works as per approved shop drawings, specifications and method statement
Issuing NCRs to contractors and assist in taking corrective actions
Ensuring that all inspection reports are accurate and in compliance with the requirements.
Ensuring compliance of architectural and structural works to design requirements, specifications and project plan.
Keep project on schedule.
Involved in Project Co-ordination and Execution for the Construction of all kind of civil works
Discussing requirements with the client and other professionals (e.g. architects)
Ensure that project team is well informed, motivated and working effectively and efficiently.
Control the manpower on assigned work(s) and shall liaise directly with the Project Manager for manning and de-manning of technical staff.
Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
Keep control of man-hours / overtime. Keep track of efficiency / productivity.
Ensure inputs to weekly and monthly progress reports.
Monitor extra work and claims and advise P.M.
Involved in Project Co-ordination and Execution for the Construction of all kind of civil works .
Work execution & Monitoring as per the Quality Norms.
Supervise and monitor the site activities force through foreman, monitoring the work of any subcontractors to complete the work as per client's satisfaction
Plan and schedule the work and efficiently organize the site/facilities in order to meet an agreed Programmed of deadlines.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations
Project - Construction of underground Sewerage System including Sewerage treatment plant.

Looking after the construction, operations and maintenance activities on site
