I had been working in the company for four years coordinating several Projects and the most outstanding is the Construction of a Sea Water Desalination Plant in Ténès (Algeria) with a capacity of 200, 000 m3/day.
Additionally, I took part in several technical Specifications of Mechanical Equipments such as Expansion Joints for the Desalination itself for Qingdao Desalination Plant with a capacity of 100, 000 m3/day
Finally, I revised up thoroughly the Honaine Sea Water Desalination Plant Project with a capacity of 200, 000 m3/day.
I had a role of conducting and supervising all the Engineering Projects made by the Company for both tendering and Construction.
Several examples are The Construction of Las Palmas III Desalination Plant (Racks X and XI) and the tendering projects related to AGUA Program such as Barcelona (Baix Llobregat, Sagunto, Denia, Campo de Dalias, Torrevieja, Mutxamell, Moncófa and the rest of 21 Great Desalination Plants in Spain.
Updating and registration of the different Works Certifications that took part by that time.
Technical Attendance of the works to be done during the Construction of a 35000 m3/day MED Desalination Plant.
Research and Investigation of the behaviour of cellulose triacetate membranes to be incorporated to a new rack to be build in Las Palmas III big Desalination Plant. Finally, the client did not accept this solution and opted for Hydranautics aromatic poliamide membranes.
Taking care of a pilot plant in order to select the best post-treatment for a 5000 m3/day Sewage Plant efluent in the South East of Gran Canaria. The plant itself consisted on a pilot to treat the effluent
After completing the six year period of Engineering Studies I made up the End of Studies Project (Handling Centre for Horticultural Products)
After completing my Studies at the Primary School of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria I went on with my Studies at High School for four years (until June 1985) with a qualification of a 7,2.
