Project- Operations and Maintenance of Irrigation pump stations in Abu Dhabi -consultancy contract no. D-108941
- Conducts daily site inspection of Irrigation Pump Stations located on different areas of Abu Dhabi
- Inspection and checking of any faults, defects, abnormalities etc, . of pumps, fittings, and other mechanical equipments. Any findings will execute reports for immediate maintenance activity.
- Inspection of the equipment under defect report submitted by contractors.
- Material inspections for proposed material replacements as per original system design.
- Witnessing repaired pumps/equipments installation and testing. Making approvals for the test results.
- Technical Support Engineer for mechanical design.
- Supervises preventive maintenance work and prepares weekly maintenance schedule for Water Treatment Plant crew.
- Inspection of Centrifugal pumps, submersible pumps, pneumatic controlled valves, pipelines etc.
- Prepares purchase request of pipes, fittings and equipment parts for corrective maintenance.
- Re-designed existing pipelines for system improvement.
- Designs Pipeline systems, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Lubrication and cooling water pipeline systems and layouts.
- Designs and handles civil construction works (e.g. Machine foundation, Pipe trenches, Cooling water return canal, etc., ) on site.
- Elevation checking using level transit devices, established mill passlines and reference levels.
- Dealing with contractors, reviews engineering drawings from vendors, installation drawings, BOM preparation, cost estimates and site supervision on site.
- Leads the mechanical personnel in the equipment check-out, equipment quality inspection, testing and documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews project contracts, generates aluminum structure Drawings by AutoCAD for client approvals.
- Prepares bill of materials, material orders for aluminum and steel, executes fabrication orders and manages material quality assurance
- Supervises executed multiple projects on site and prepares daily progress reports.
Accomplishments:
- Established drawings and proposed designs with respect to client's preferences.
- Minimizes Material expenses thru optimization of cutting list fabrications.
- Accomplished multiple projects and meets the client's target closure date.
Responsibilities:
-generates machine shop/ fabrication drawings of rolling mill plant equipment spare parts (pump impeller profiles, gear box gear tooth profiles, Pneumatic Systems, Water supply pipelines systems, etc.)
- Supports maintenance work team by participating in planning and improving preventive maintenance work system, supervising a crew at weekend plant shutdown maintenance schedule, and preparing compliance report for the executed work orders assigned as per maintenance work schedule.
-Supervises hired contractors and installation crews in a rolling mill plant upgrading project
Accomplishments:
-Established fabrication drawings with technical specifications complied to market and international standards (AISI, ASTM, JIS etc.), files drawings according to work procedures.
- Mill equipment performance maintained at design capacity complied to maintenance job schedule and equipment manuals (e.g. lubrication unit oil filters replacements, pipeline inspection and replacement, etc.)
-Established mill cooling systems, lubrication unit heat exchanger cooling systems and pipeline design for each system.
