Oversee plants manufacturing processes and ensure maintenance procedures and best practices are applied to maximize machines availability and eficiency. 1. Prepare daily maintenance activities and delegate workload to maintenance team. 2. Implement & execute preventive & corrective maintenance schedules of plant & equipment to deliver targeted reliability & availability 3. Coordinate and communicate with the Production Managers and Supervisors regarding issues and concern on the production line. 4. Leads Maintenance team and train them to be more competent and efective on their respective area. 5. Provide technical input to business plans, proposal by suggesting improvements or re design to improve processes and ensure smooth operation of the line. 6. Participate in new machinery installation ensure proper operation after Testing and Commissioning. 7. Prepares reports and analyze KPI for each area, makes recommendation for improving plant operation by using root cause analysis. 8. Coordinate with reliability engineer for the Planning of PM, CM and spare parts needed for maintenance activities. 9. Lead the team for In house Calibration of all Process Instruments for all Factories. 10. Supported the adoption of Lean manufacturing principles like TPM, 5S, Kaizen, VSM to optimize eficiency of production processes, improve quality and cost reduction.
Automation and Control Section Head (February 01, 2014-April 30, 2016) Area of Responsibility: Phase1 (Maamoul Lines and Automatic Packaging Lines, Sugar Conveying and Packaging Line, Wipes Tissue packaging and Cutlery Service Tissue Packaging Lines, Building Automation and Factory Utilities) Phase2 (Jam Factory, Foods and Spices Factory, Sesame Cleaning and Toasting Factory, Sesame Grinding Line, Halawa Cookers, Glucose and
Sugar handling System, Tahina and Halawa Filling, Meat Processing Line, Cheese Factory) Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for all production process automation and controls systems and installation, start-up, and commissioning, final acceptance tests up to production hand over of new machines, while supporting the continued and sustained development and improvement of the manufacturing process.
1. Conduct studies for improvement and upgrade of control system of each machine for easy maintenance and to minimize downtime. 2. Develops, manages and controls a proper document control system for the Automation & Controls team. 3. Monitor and update spare parts and prepare purchase requisition for equipment spares and repair services. 4. Managed and direct automation engineer and technician in their designated works. 5. Assist Technical Engineers in Commissioning of New machines and ensure proper operation after Testing and Commissioning. 6. Prepares reports and analyze data, makes recommendation for improving plant operation and solving maintenance problems. 7. Plans and prepares maintenance activities, Preventive and Corrective Maintenance schedule including equipment improvement project. 8. Train all my stafs and operators on the operation and maintenance of the machine in accordance to Standard Operating Procedure.
Area of Responsibility: Battery Recycling Plant, Rotary Furnaces, Kettles, Casting Machine and Plant Utilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing efficient, economical and adequate electrical and mechanical maintenance services on the plant facilities and its allied equipment. Plans and prepares maintenance activities, Preventive and Corrective Maintenance schedule
1. Develop and execute a system of regularly scheduled maintenance actions.
2. Plans and prepares maintenance activities, Preventive and Corrective Maintenance schedule.
3. Conduct studies for improvement of electrical and mechanical system and update maintenance manuals.
4. Monitor and update spare parts and prepare purchase requisition for equipment spares and repair services.
5. Supervised and direct maintenance personnel in their designated works.
6. Initiate immediate and remedial measures in case of machine breakdowns.
7. Install and commissioned new equipment in accordance to manufacturers manual.
Area of Responsibility: Continuous Galvanizing Line, N2H2 Deoxo Plant, Finishing Lines (SLL, CTL, RFL)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for organizing, directing and controlling line maintenance shift performance and activities for continuous and efficient line operation free of electrical trouble and delays. Supervising the maintenance activities required for efficient implementation of predictive and preventive maintenance program.
1. Directs electrician in troubleshooting of electrical problems during the shift.
2. Prepares daily supervisor’s report, accomplishment and performance report, and manpower schedule.
3. Supervised maintenance downturn and preventive maintenance activities and other electrical works in the required time and minimal cost.
4. Initiate immediate and remedial measures in case of machine breakdowns.
5. Conduct studies and revision of electrical system for plant improvement.
6. Performs administrative task such as giving job assignments, preparation of work schedules, and performance appraisal of staff, budget monitoring and training for newly employed technician.
7. Conduct calibration of process instruments and controllers in accordance to standard operating procedures.
Area of Responsibility: Continuous Galvanizing Line, N2H2 Deoxo Plant Finishing Lines (SLL, CTL, RFL)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the preparation of Maintenance Downturn schedule and Preventive and Predictive maintenance activities. Ensure availability of electrical spare parts and monitor material consumption for evaluation of maintenance cost within specified budget.
1. Prepare the materials, supply consumption and budget for electrical maintenance for the incoming year.
2. Prepare Maintenance Work Orders and PM Work Orders and issued to assigned maintenance personnel for execution and track job progress in a computerized maintenance management system database.
3. Monitors and coordinates with maintenance supervisor for the implementation of Maintenance Downturn activities, Preventive maintenance activities and other electrical works.
4. Monitors and update electrical spare parts listing and raised Purchase Requisition for regular spares, critical spares, services and repair works.
5. Develops, formulates and establishes standard maintenance procedure for electrical and instrumentation equipment.
6. Prepare report such as Electrical Delays and Pending PR’s. Monitor and update line concerns and vulnerabilities.
7. Perform maintenance activities required for the efficient implementation of the preventive maintenance program at the required time and minimal cost. Ensure that all maintenance activities are properly documented.
8. Perform hardware and software troubleshooting and analyzing through PLC and human machine interfaces.
