LONE QA/QC & MATERIALS ENGINEER for the
Warehouse Multistorey Carpark Project at South Sabahiya, Al Ahmadi
Working Previously as QA/QC Manager (Former Sr. QA/QC Engineer for the SAAF Project, Sabah Al-Salem Kuwait University City at Al-Shadidiya.
Worked as Senior Quality Engineer at SAAF - Student Activities & Athletic Facilities Project, Sabah Al-Salem Kuwait University.
Managing the QA/QC Department, Staffs/Personnel and All QA/QC related matters in the Construction of Ali Al Sabah Military Academy Project.
-Responsible for all aspects related to Project Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
Prepares Weekly and Monthly Reports.
- Implementation of the Quality Management and Control Programme for the Project.
- Daily Site Inspections and Periodical Offsite Inspections.
- Controlling all inspections activities on site.
- Completion of necessary documentation to verify the work performed.
- Ensuring that inspection request are implemented.
- Ensuring that all test reports are verified to meet the contract requirements.
- To ensure all materials delivered to site are inspected and conform to specified requirements.
- Issue and administer Non Conformance Report as necessary and ensure follow up.
- Report to the Project Quality Manager any deficiencies in the operation of Quality Management and Control System.
- Completion of Final Quality Documentation in a presentable manner, in accordance with the conditions of the Contract.
- Responsible for overseeing/audits of Sub-Contractors Quality Management System.
Worked as Senior QA/QC Engineer and acting Site QA/QC Manager for 5 Months (No Site QA/QC Manager Available).
- Control and manage all QA/QC activities at site as per approved Contractor’s PQCP in particular and Project Quality Management System in general.
- Manage works of Contractor’s Inspection Team to ensure that all types of Inspections and Testing of Materials are performed as per Contract requirements.
- Controlling the Products Quality Workmanship and ensuring that Corrective and Preventive actions are taken when required.
- Undertake Audits to ensure conformance to agreed Standards, Legislation and Project Specific Requirements.
- Ensuring that Materials are inspected when delivered to ensure if they comply with the various specifications.
- Maintaining a records of all QA/QC activities on site.
- Checking that all Measuring and Test Equipment on site is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Ensuring that the Staffs and Personnel are aware of their responsibilities in respect of quality issues and are adequately trained in their respective works.
- To ensure that all Operatives and appropriate Sub-contractors have been briefed as to the content of Method Statements.
- Assist in the Company Internal Audit.
- Assisting and reporting to the Corporate QA/QC Manager - Group as required.
-Conduct daily monitoring, site pre-inspections of Structural up to finishing activities.
- Advised comments and site instructions for rectification on Quality Workmanship.
