3. November '11-till date: Administrative Specialist: After the successful completion of receiving for the Vale staff office area and our tasks, I was promoted to be Administrative Specialist and Contracts Management in the Administrative & Operation Support.
Aim managing 5 staff in the provision of Administrative & Operation Support to Vale Oman Pelletizing staff and reported directly to the Administrative operation support and contract manager. Responsible for the negotiation and control of the contracts realizing economic feasibility studies. Furthermore negotiate tariffs, elaborate statistical reports and give administrative support to the operational areas, helping them to fulfil their goals and execute administrative support tasks, control and spread information of the area, consolidate the supplies budget in order to help the supply department to achieve its goals.

The main challenges and responsibilities are: • Negotiate, coordinate and control contracts with travel agencies, restaurants, cleaning, employee's transportation, copy services, garbage collection, courier and postal services, works, civil projects, secretary and maintenance amongst others.
• Prepare monthly reports related to the performance of the contracts of area.
• Analyse the budget of the area, issuing comments and reports.
• Discuss and define the procurement strategies with the end user to ensure the best strategy is defined for contract agreement.
• Make feasibility studies in order to reduce costs of the contracts, stocks, services, etc
• Give administrative support for the areas of HR, control (budget/costs), services, etc in the operational areas.
• Establish contacts with the leaders of the communities in the area where Vale is active.
• Kickoff meeting with new contractor.
• Control secretary services as well as administrative information and services in general.
• Responsible for the preparation and distribution of the food and collective transport in light vehicles.
• Provision of procurement and contracts function including provision of tender Committee approval documents and reports. This is a complete supply chain management activity.
• Responsible for the maintenance of the building, civil works, elevators, A/Cs, drinking fountains, electrical and cleaning, etc.
• Implement contracts inspection plan to define corrective action points for all managed contracts.
• Technical evaluations analyze for tender.
• Follow-up and analyze the execution of the budget of the area
• Manage, design and generate Scope of Work for all approved services within the division, manage the process for producing tender packs manage bid evaluations (technical and commercial) for contract awards.

Major achievements through negotiation and centralised procurement system: • Cost savings of RO 30k monthly in 2013.

August '10-October '11: Services Assistant: I was assigned as the Services Assistant and responsible in managing the realisation of the administrative buildings such as Admin, Lab, Mosque, Restaurant, Ambulatory, Male and Female Dressing Rooms, Maintenance Block, Waste Management area, Warehouse, Central Control Room, Yard Building, Jetty and Security Gate, and the supporting infrastructure such as Landscaping Land roads network, drainage system. I had a team of staff working under my direct and indirect management to provide support during the project phase. During this period my tasks were related to the realisation of Vale project. This included: • Coordinate and control contracts for cleaning, building maintenance, conservation, safety, postal services, alimentation, transport for persons and material, etc.
• Maintain the light vehicles in good state of conservation and functioning.
• Plan, program and control trips in the country.
• Control, archive, digit and maintain updated technical/administrative documents.
• Digit appropriations of equipments for future closure of monthly costs.
• Register small value purchases and request payments of invoices.
• Request and control office material, individual protection equipment, uniforms and control the inventory of the warehouse.

• Contact and request arrangements from the internal and external suppliers in cases of non-compliance.
