Duties & Responsibilities:-
* Assuming responsibilities for organizing and supervising of Project Engineers who directs construction activities that are necessary to complete the project on time, within budget, meeting all construction and safety specifications, and with regard to all project activities such as (but not limited to) pilling, excavation, backfilling, waterproofing, shuttering, steel reinforcement, concrete, masonry, steel structure, plaster, painting, gypsum partition & ceiling, ceramic, marble, cladding, aluminum and doors.
* Reviewing construction specifications with a view to planning, construction procedures and development of construction schedules.
* Coordinates with all Sub-contractors, together with coordination and monitoring of their scope with ongoing site activities.
* Finalizing the planning, organizing, staffing and administration of construction personnel and methods, subject to review by the Project Manager with the assistance of the Project Control Manager.
* Managing assignment of construction personnel and plant, develops a mobilization plan, and resolves all labor problems concerning organization, function and assignment.
* Controlling construction activities through Discipline Construction Managers, Project Engineers and coordinates their activities and ensures construction in line with drawings, specifications and construction planning, procedures and schedules.
* Assisting the Project Manager in coordinating with the Contractor’s representative, keeping him informed of construction status including areas of concern.
* Reviewing all Field Design Changes and periodically reviews change controls to determine the adequacy and ensure changes are executed in a timely manner.
* Assisting in the maintenance of construction schedules and resource requirements.
* Developing construction methods to overcome site problems, obstacles, and adverse progress.
* Reviewing construction quality programs and reports.
* Coordinates with the planning department and the Project Control Manager in order to schedule materials to be delivered effectively. The lead time for various materials required shall be ascertained and allowed for when programming procurement activities, so that sufficient time is allowed for taking of materials.
* Coordinates with the Contractor’s Engineering Manager in order to obtain any technical data required by the Sub-contractor coordinators, Engineers or Supervisors in his group.
* Carrying out the directives of the Project Manager.
* Assuming responsibility on separate quantitative records maintained for consumables, and the like.
* Reviewing cost reports to ensure compliance with budget and takes corrective action where necessary.

Manage & organize the responsibilities between the projects' technical office staff (Technical Eng’s, QA/QC, Planner, QS and Draftsmen)

Prepare all the written daily/weekly/monthly reports, inspections, letters and documentations.

Quality Control Manager: -
As a member of the quality control field, supervising and conducting quality control surveillance in job site procedures for as pertaining conformance to applicable specifications and drawing requirements.
Checking the engineering offices drawings and specifications of projects to insure the results indicated are being achieved well.
Prepare written daily inspection performance reports and measure the performance of work through the procedure established for the projects, test results, locations of inspections and other pertaining activities for the job.
Responsible for distribution routinely, following the sequence of ongoing activities, of all works in accordance with the projects procedures manual, as well as monitoring qualities of the accomplishment as per plan and target schedule.
Preparing input for a monthly report of all quality control activities, listing all problems arises and holding points at projects site.
Preparation of building acceptance documents and conducts inspections covering installations and testing activities, which have to be witnessed by the clients and / or authorized representative.
Coordinating with the project consultant to verify necessary actions to be taken and to settle final inspections through handing over.
