Reporting to the Executive Manager & CEO, the role involves establishing the Sales department and put together the new products Strategy in accordance with the company business strategy, creating the marketing tools and managing the business development by collaborating with the other heads of departments.
Provide advice and counsel to business leaders on communications’ issues
Establish and build new relationships with existing and potential producers that have prospective business that meets the companies underwriting criteria, maintain existing relationships in order to protect existing books of business. Develop an in depth understanding of our company’s products. Co-ordinate any marketing campaigns to prospects. Conduct broker training and presentations.
Built a complete department for Business development and created new department for broker relationship and increase the brokers from 5 to 92 brokers in panel with total production from few AED 1000/- to AED 100, 000, 000/- in 2 years,
Responsible for building and maintain relationships with international, national and business media to increase awareness for the company’s corporate image, reputation, and brand. Managing relationships at both strategic and technical level with Brokers and clients to maximize the growth in net underwriting profit for the Organization.
Providing advice on product features and benefits to Brokers and facilitating the provision of technical or other specialist underwriting and product advice to Brokers and clients.
Business Development and Sales activities, Manage the Sales cycle. Develop strong working relationships. Servicing a number of portfolio’s to maintain a positive level of growth of premium income with emphasis, Set annual budgets and monitor performance on a monthly basis
Evaluate and measure the works within the contracted scope; undertake periodic valuations of works in progress as required. Prepare certificates for payment as required. Prepare requests for proposals, and manage the negotiation with providers and brokerages to procure insurance services.
Strong understanding of Islamic and Conventional Insurance features, benefits, advantages and customer eligibility, assist the Operations team with arranging events/town hall sessions and working lunch for meeting held inside/outside the offices. Continuously provide feedback on competitive activities to the product and business team and tract market developments.
Achieving individual profit and business growth targets to contribute to attainment of Branch plans.
Ensure that service agreement requirements are fulfilled and work to ensure Clients satisfaction with Company services.
Evaluate costs and revenue of agreements to determine continued profitability.
Negotiate with stakeholders or suppliers to obtain resources or materials.
Monitor customer satisfaction of clients and providers subject to key projects to ensure concerns are settled equitably and timely.
Influences, motivates, and challenges others; adapts leadership styles to a variety of situations.
Conduct meetings with prospective Clients as required; Source data about their insurance and assistance needs, and discuss administration of any existing or intended products.
Perform administrative tasks such as coordinating and handling policy renewals as related to key projects.
