Major Responsibilities:
- Prepare job descriptions and personnel specifications, write job advertisements and decide how and where jobs will be advertised.
- Ensure all recruitment policies, procedures and techniques are adhered to and recommend improvements.

- Collects, reviews and screens resumes matching candidate skills and abilities with current job vacancies.
- Negotiates contracts with recruitment and advertising agencies on fees and conditions.
- Develops professional relationships with local organizations and colleges.
- Analyzes agency performance and continually seeks those agencies that can provide a qualified pool of candidates at any given time.

Major Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Human Resources Director.
- In-charge of recruitment that include specifying the departmental requirements through meeting departments heads, advertising, screening CVs, interviewing, short listing and offering candidates.
- Review employment applications and evaluate work history, education and training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications of applicants.
- Targeting audiences and designing recruitment ads.
- Coordinate the obtaining of a background check for potential employees.
- Contribute in designing department-specific human resources programs such as orientation programs.
- Design and deliver an orientation program for new employees.
- Recommend the best Human Resources practices as per the UAE Labor Law.
- Market the University as a viable employer through various recruitment efforts and activities.
- Review personnel actions such as hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Modify employment offers and contracts to assure compliance with UAE labor law.
- Coordinate, lead or participate in all HR activities and projects.

- Coordinate and monitor the development and administration of training programs designed to meet departmental management and personnel training needs
- Assist in evaluating current procedures, policies and practices and in developing and implementing alternate methods designed for improvement of work.
- Evaluate effectiveness of training and development programs and utilizes relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods.
- Plan and implement a comprehensive staff development and training program including Training Need Assessment (TNA), program coordination, budget monitoring and program evaluation.
- Assess training needs in consultation with the University departments’ Manager/Supervisor to develop the human resources in order to accomplish the strategic goals of the department and the University.

- Represent the University at a number of national Higher Education Conventions and local and regional Educational Events.
- Prepare annual plans for Student Recruitment locally and internationally.
- Generate statistical reports to the higher management to assist in decision making & strategic planning.
- Prepare and give presentations regarding all aspects of higher education to a wide variety of audiences, offering expert advice and helping to interpret sometimes complex information for prospective students and their parents/influencers.
- Manage certain students’ recruitment and/or awareness-raising projects, including their planning, delivery and evaluation, ensuring these align with the University’s Strategic Plan.
- Take a lead in the development and delivery of student recruitment and widening participation initiatives on and off campus such as Open Days and School Visits.
- Liaise with targeted schools/ educational institutes/ organizations locally and regionally to build and enhance partnerships and relationships.
