• Define, implement & supervise all pharmacy related activities in the Mission.
• Ensure proper organisation of supply process, procedures & protocols.
• Ensure a close follow up of the National Drug Supply particularly in projects where MSF is working in conjunction with Ministry of Health.
• Function as Technical Pharmacy Support regarding pharma-questions.
• Regular technical visits to ensure appropriate follow-up of activities.
• Monitor procurement process and take corrective measures when needed.
• Collect, analyze stock indicators and take corrective decisions when needed.

• Define annual planning and budgets of pharmacy activities in the project.
• Supervise the functioning and organization of central pharmacy and other peripheral units (Set policies and procedures to be followed).
• Monitor correct stock management across pharmacy and end user units.
• Define, if needed, training opportunities for the staff.
• Plan and supervise, in coordination with the HR department, the associated processes (recruitment, training/induction, evaluation).

• Serve as a resource to enhance student understanding clinical issues.
• Identify and assign appropriate activities and projects to students

• Supervise and lead the provision of pharmacy services and operations
• Support clinical pharmacy workflow by operational planning.
• Coordinate meetings and evaluate performance of assigned personnel.
• Lead and develop pharmacists, technicians, to attain certifications.

• Supervise team members within the pharmacy.
• Attend medical rounds (Internal medicine and Pediatric Oncology) and provide educational sessions to staff.
• Verify doctors’ orders regarding patient medications.

• Check for medication errors and control chemotherapy preparation.
• Supervision of pharmacy technicians.
• Discuss treatment plans with physicians.
