- Responsible for the handling the IT requirements of over 400 users, working closely with the business to understand their needs and ensuring firms IT systems are available with the highest possible uptime
- Accurately identifying data, systems and IT opportunities and requirements of the organization while also chartering an implementation plan to align all IT processes
- Developing and implementing ICT policies and procedures and ensuring the smooth execution of work processes as per the procedures
- Planning, testing and implementing changes and upgrades in accordance with the needs of the business
- Implementing and managing a host of IT systems including Windows 2003/2008/2012 Server Family products, Avigilon CCTV systems, ESET NOD32 antivirus using Eset Remote Admin Console and SONOS system
- Proactively setting up and administering VPN connectivity between corporate and the branch offices using Draytek Vigor router 2800/2900 series and Fortigate 200D
- Reviewing contracts for services and proficiently managing third party suppliers delivering IT systems and equipment, and server support
- Exploring and evaluating new IT trends and emerging products as well as suggesting improvements for workflow and processes used within the firm
• Administer Microsoft Windows Servers (Active Directory), Microsoft Workstations, and network security devices
• Setup and maintain file, application and print servers
• Installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows 7, Vista and XP
• Deploying updates, service packs and hot fixes using WSUS
• Setup and monitor VPN connectivity between Main office to Branch Offices using Draytek Vigor router 2800/2900 series and Fortigate 200D
• Handling Mitel IP Telephony related concerns (phone name extension change, installation of IP phone request and voicemail configuration)
• Deploying ESET NOD32 antivirus using Eset Remote Admin Console
• CCTV installation and maintenance
• Installing, configuring, troubleshooting, backup and restore of all local and remote server using Symantec Backup Exec 2010
• Provide day-to-day hardware/software/network support for 350+ end users
• Assisted in the migration of the email system from MS Exchange server to Google Apps email using Google Email Uploader and Google Sync.
• Provides support for mobile users
• Replacement of 800 old Compaq and Dell Machines with new Dell Optiplex GX520.
• Restoration of Data in new machines for all users
• Configuration of Email Accounts
• Removing the old Machines and adding the new machines to DOHMS Domain.
