The project is a USD 2.8 Billion world class healthcare facilities comprising of 10-floor Hospital Building holding 550 beds, 9-floor Out-Patient Clinic Building, Underground Car Park, 5-floor Multi Level Car Park, Central Services Building, and a Helipad.
• Serve as the site representative for all matters related to construction quality assurance of electrical works.
• Monitor the electrical works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents, project quality plans, quality control procedures, approved construction drawings, material submittals, procedures manual, local and international codes of practice.
• Attend request for inspection, and witness testing and commissioning of Electrical system (HV/MV/LV distribution, lighting, lighting control, emergency lighting, central battery system, earthing & lightning protection, harmonic filters, isolated power supply system, UPS, MCC), ELV systems such as (fire alarm & detection/voice evacuation, electronic security management, clock, background music, CCTV, BMS, door access control, nurse call, intercom, public address, and ICT system such as (voice & data, WLAN, audio/video, GSM).
• Review inspection reports and test results, monitor and check implementation according to approved Inspection and Test Plan and Method Statement.
• Monitor the Contractor progress against the approved construction program and inform any delay to the MEP Site Manager.
• Provide interim checking of material delivery to site as per approved samples and material submittals.
• Conduct surveillance site visits and issue Non-Conformance Notice or Site Deficiency Report instructing remedial action to Contractor. Review and follow up the proposed corrective action for timely closure of findings.
• Provide field engineering support, interpreting legal requirements and recommending compliance procedures to contractor.
• Perform snagging to record and capture defects using SnagR software. Review the adequacy and accuracy of punch list.
• Ensures safety environment in the jobsite, through periodic inspection of construction electrical facilities and implementing safety procedures.

• Site inspection and monitor installation of electrical installations, earthing, cable laying, lighting fixtures, wiring devices, lighting & power distribution panels, cable containment, duct bank, and trenches.
• Witness testing & commissioning of HV/MV/LV distribution includes cable insulation resistance and high potential tests, switchgears, standby generators, automatic transfer switch, power factor correction capacitor bank, uninterruptible power supply system, and earthing system.
• Conducts material inspection to ensure that material delivered to site is according to the project specification and approved material submittal prior to installation.
• Prepare surveillance and issues Non-Conformance Report on works that deviates design specification and standards.
• Review As-Built drawings, operation & maintenance manuals, warranties, and spare part list to be handed over to client.
