Responsible for the design, implementation, communication and coordination of Quality Control programs for the organizations specific project Katara Twin Tower Lusail. This position will develop and provide technical and administrative direction on all Quality Control decisions, which bear critical importance to overall objectives, operations, and profitability of the organization. This position manages subordinates and is responsible for the overall direction and coordination.
• Developing Project Quality Plan, Quality Procedures, Inspections Test Plans, Method Statements.
• Scheduling the inspection activities MIR & IR/RFIT in advance.
• Coordination with Main Contractor and Consultant for QA/QC matters at the project site.
• Active involvements in Project starting from Tender stage - Material Specifications and proposals to Handover including kick off meetings, Project material requests, Material Approvals, Shop Drawing reviews, Installation and Inspections, snags and Testing.
• Issuing Nonconformity Reports NCRs and controlling corrective and preventive actions.
• Participating in Project management meetings on issues related to the project quality, installation, inspections, Testing and the Materials.
• Developing and implementing training sessions on the project quality for the project personnel.
• Responsible for the staffing and directing the organizations Quality Control & Materials Department, including the management of all QA/QC Engineers.
• Liaison with suppliers for arranging the material specifications, proposals and system technical details.
• In house and Third Party Testing on Mock ups at Site as well as performance mock up Laboratories.
• Liaison with Third party in maintaining the company QMS & Procedures etc.
• Planning and conducting internal audits and MRM in the factory and project site as per Quality Management System.

This position will develop and provide technical and administrative direction on all Quality Control & Materials approval decisions, which bear critical importance to overall objectives, operations, and profitability of the organization. This position manages subordinates and is responsible for the overall direction and coordination.
• Direct the resources and activities to support the Quality Control and Materials Approval programs by providing advice and guidance to the Company Senior Management.
• Ensuring the compliance of work with the applicable codes, standards, contracts and project specifications.
• Developing Project Quality Plan, Quality Procedures, Inspections Test Plans, Method Statements and Technical submission of the materials.
• Reviewing the IFC & shop drawings and BOQ.
• Coordination with Main Contractor and Consultant for QA/QC and Material Technical Submission matters at the project site.
• Active involvements in Project starting from Tender stage - Material Specifications and proposals to Handover including kick off meetings, Project material requests, Material Approvals, Shop Drawing reviews, Installation and Inspections, snags and Testing.

• Reviewing and authorizing changes to or deviations from the quality plan and Value Engineering.
• Participating in Project management meetings on issues related to the project quality, installation, inspections, Testing and the Materials.

• Planning and conducting internal audits and MRM in the factory and project sites as per Quality Management System.

 Responsible for raw material testing and inspection of Aluminum coils as per specification ASTM B 209 M and EN 485 which includes confirming the chemical composition, physical inspection and mechanical properties like tensile strength, yield strength and elongation.
 Inspected the inward portions of paint as per specification like ECCA Specification and EN 1396.
 Developed new paints, cost reduction of the paints and optimum utilization of the paints.
 Handled online tinting of the paints for shade matching as per customer requirement.
 Initiated corrective actions and preventive action at various stages due to non conformities.
 Maintained all standard documents related to aluminum, coating and paint, etc.
 Ensured proper functioning of all the processes as per the regulations of the local govt. authorities like Dubai Municipality and Civil defence departments.
 Maintained storage areas for flammable material like paints and solvents as per the safety and fire regulations.

 Undertook inward, in process and final inspection of the pre painted galvanized Steel coils and sheet as per order acceptance.
 Carried out all mechanical, chemical as well as all long term tests like salt spray, QUV test and humidity tests.
 Set up all process parameters and coater roll speed as per specifications, considering color, size and thickness and line speed, viscosity, etc.
 Performed an online tinting of the paints for shade matching as per customer requirements.

 Produced daily reports like PDIR, P-Chart, SPC all other documents as required by TS 16949 standard etc.
 Verified and monitored all critical testing of the components like rubber bumper testing on hydraulic testing machine, coupling testing on universal testing machine and rubber mounting testing on pneumatic machine.
 Instrumental in PPAP, FMEA, R&R gauge study documents for Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., Mahindra & Mahindra & TS 16949 certification.
 Produced documentation for achieving ISO 9001-2000 certification for Pokharkar Engineering (new subsidiary).
 Handled the QA activities as QA in charge for Pokharkar Engineering Pvt. Ltd.
 Sole point of contact for all services such as material supply, complaints, development for Piaggio vehicles.
