 Leads a team that comprises of Strategy & Planning, Infrastructure & Operations, Service Delivery and PMO & Enterprise Applications Support and reports directly to the ENEC CFO.  Effectively manages the whole ICT Department with the goal of receiving the “Best Service Delivery Department” award (Recipient of the award for 5 consecutive years).

 Oversees the business relationship linkage between the business units and ICT (at the executive level).  Provides highly valued strategic consulting support by utilizing key IT initiatives.

Main responsibilities:
• Heading the following sections: IT Service Desk/Support, IT Infrastructure/Network and Software Development.
• Create client solutions, manage services cost and quality standards and implement appropriate backup and recovery procedures to ensure database integrity.
• Plan and direct the daily operational and support activities of the technical staff and deploy resources as needed in different locations & sites.
• Responsible for preparing technology budgets and ensure projects and budgets meet established targets.
• Strengthen the IT infrastructure through implementing new technologies.
• Manage vendors & subcontractors including AMC contract negotiations.

• Identify bottle necks with existing processes and define how IT can help address bottle necks and issues.
• Recommend improvements to - or new requirements for - business processes and operational procedures.
• Present the IT department as the project coordinator in the eGovernment Steering Committee.
