Supervised two planners tasked with ordering and expediting parts to support customer requirements. Prepared estimates and quotes for general contractors, leveraging material, labor, transportation, and other essential costs in calculations. Developed and maintained strong business relationships with qualified contractors, suppliers, and vendors; led negotiations to obtain best dollar value. Conducted reviews, customer surveys and outreach, evaluated product performance, and monitored and tracked vendor performance to ensure customer satisfaction. Assisted in resolving invoice discrepancies and facilitated conflict resolutions between suppliers and company.
• Achieved three-year enterprise target, reducing supply base 55% by optimizing three seismic suppliers in FY07 to meet segment goal.
• Leveraged subject matter expertise in Schlumberger Web Procurement System (SWAP) and first SWAP trainer in Khartoum, led SWAP implementation and trained Supply Chain teams on use of the new purchasing system.
