• Arranges and participates in meetings with suppliers and engineering department to facilitate material inspection, substitution, standardization, economical procurement of parts and equipment
• Coordination with site engineers and planners in planning for materials. Coordination with estimation and tendering departments for budgeting of materials
• Preparation of materials submittals and RFQ packages from purchase requests, evaluation of bids received, preparation of comparative statements, putting up to management recommending source of supply, preparation of PO, post-PO activities including NMR submittals, inspections, expediting the shipment
