Responsible for managing and implementing HSE & Quality standards in Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Center, Al Ain Zoo.

• Provide support to all departments for effective implementation of QHSE systems at their workplace.
• To safeguard Client’s QHSE requirements as stated by the contract/SLA.
• Implementation of HSE Policy & standards at site;
• Controlled the operational control procedures viz., permit to Work systems for carrying out hazardous work at the sites.
• Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining QHSE documents (procedures, Instructions, Risk Assessments, Environmental Aspects, checklist etc.) .
•Closely monitor the field activities / system adherence from QHSE point of view and provide regular feedback on the compliance status to the QHSE manager and Facilities Manager.
• Ensure that appropriate firefighting equipment’s are available in good working condition and that established emergency procedures are in place in the event of fire or other emergency.
• Conduct Training for firefighting drill all employees and staff.
• Preparing and reporting monthly reports and logs to the Manager
• Identify potential areas of improvement / alternative measures at workplace/sites.
• Conduct periodic fire drills and evacuation drills for all facilities as per SLA / KPI’s.
• Conduct periodic/routine QHSE inspections/audits and report the findings to the Facilities Manager & QHSE Manager, Communicate QHSE Alerts / Best Practices.
• Prompt response in case of incident/accident including first aid, rescue, evacuation, investigation and subsequent reporting to the QHSE Manager & Facilities Manager.
• Detailed incident/accident investigation and take appropriate corrective/preventive action.
• To stop (or take appropriate actions) the work/activities being carried out in case of QHSE violations/Unsafe acts.
•Controlled the operational control procedures viz., permit to Work systems for carrying out hazardous work at the sites.
•Conducted training programmes for employees to generate awareness about QHSE processes, in close coordination with account managers and external training agencies.
• Monitor the ‘’Tool Box Talks’’ at sites, maintain statistical records of near miss, Don’t Walk By, incident and accidents.
• Maintaining Dubai Holding Compliance Register (Building safety system-Fire Alarm-Fire Fighting System, Elevator System, BMU, Water System (Water tank cleaning, water testing etc.)
• Weekly Site Inspection, Report preparation & follow up.
• Overall Maintaining and Implementation of the Fire & Life Safety System as per NFPA, 10, 25 and 72, Monitoring and Implementing the UAE Fire & Life Safety Code 2017, Dubai Civil Defense (DCD) and Dubai Municipality (DM) Requirements, QHSE Management System (OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001).
Prepare health and safety strategies and developing internal policy.
Carry out hazard identification and risk assessments.
Lead in-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks.
Maintain records of near misses and training sessions
Ensuring safe installation of equipments
Carrying our regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented.
Advising on a range of specialist areas like fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases.
