To execute non-destructive testing and provide technical assistance to Inspection Engineer in all activities related with static equipment in on-stream and during shutdown as per Risk Based Inspection (RBI) schedule in a safe and effective manner to ensure continuous functioning of all rotating equipment in the plant. To provide Corrosion monitoring and RBI services related to Piping / Static equipment’s.
• Update the Inspection History following with Risk & Reliability Management (RRM) and Inspection Data Management System (IDMS) for the plant.
• Reviewing the test details of PSV’s & TSV’S and updating the results in related software for the plant (MAXIMO).
• Establishing Preventive Maintenance program by using software for the plant (MAXIMO).
• Dividing the corrosion loop based on the P&ID’s, Isometric Drawings and RRM software using the plant by SHELL.
• Keeping the all inspection reports softcopy in Inspection Data Management System \[IDMS\] and Hardcopy as per requirement of ISO-9001-2008.
• Prepare & Update Inspection History to Inspection Data Management System (IDMS) including NDT Status and review.
• Offer for NDT by Subcontractor and review NDT Reports/ RT & sign off.
• Final Mechanical Completion Inspection & clearance prior to PWHT/Hydro test/ Despatch.
• Initiate timely corrective action and preventive actions on NCR/CAPA/customer complaints.
• Preparation of Inspection Work Sheet (IWS) and follow up the status.
• Establishing Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Qualification Tests (WQT) as per the requirement of project.
• Responsible to prepare Quality Report on completion of work. To achieve this day to day quality records maintaining such as Weld Map, NDE Inspection Reports, Material Certificates, Repair Status, Fit-up & Welding Inspection Reports.
• Responsible for In-house Calibration for measuring equipments in Department and keep track for validity and liaison with outside calibration companies.
• Interpretation of Radiographs, Weld Rectification, Advice the methods for Radiographic Technique to produce better quality radiographs.
• Responsible for Material Receiving Inspection, preparation of non-conformity reports for non compliance item. Supplier evaluation and new supplier evaluation.
• Inspection of the verticality of columns for boiler drum used by theodolite.
• Checking the ground level, grouting, column basin, and bench mark used by Level Instrument.
• Done Etching test by using HCL for the Welder Qualification Test.
• Done the mechanical surveys as per the requirement for the plant.
• Inspection of the incoming welding electrodes by the approved supplier and keep all records related to the welding electrodes and the supplier.
• In Process Inspection such as fabrication fit-up Inspection, Welding Inspection, Dimensional Checking & Painting Inspection, Etc…
• Product final Inspection and Release for Execution.
• Responsible for Material Receiving Inspection and transporting the required material to the site from the material yard.
• Keeping the Quality records and Quality plan as a soft copy and hard copy.
• All in-charge in Electro Static Precipitator as designed by FFE USA and FLS-Midth Denmark, FFE Rolling mill, Rotating equipments, and Transfer Towers.
• Fabrication, Execution and Verticality checking of Transfer Towers (T.T) with the help of Theodolite.
• Alignment of Heavy Rolling mills with the help of Millwright Fitters, which designed only for Magadi Soda Pure Ash Project Kenya.
• Inspection of heavy rolling mills and motors with dial gauges by Millwright fitters.
• Preparing the daily progress report and monthly report for submission to the client (L&T) and customer (MSCL).
• Visual Inspection and NDT(RT & DPT)
• Assisting the execution Engineer with the help of P&ID, GAD and Isometric Drawings in special Electro Static Precipitator designed for Thermal Power plant (ESP) 2 X 500 MW.
• Preparation list of required materials to the site by using the software of BHEL.
• Responsible for Material Receiving Inspection and transporting the required material to the site from the material yard.
• Preparing the daily progress report and monthly report for submission to the client (BHEL) and customer (NTPC).
• Welding in-charge in Electro Static Precipitator \[ESP\].
• Keeping the Quality records and Quality plan as a soft copy and hard copy.
