When Ammar was employed by UCC on October 10, 2011, my capacity was that of Deputy Managing Director of UCC & since then I am currently Managing Director of Power International Holding. Ammar’s role with UCC was one of our outstanding Project Directors. He started work with UCC on 15 / 10/ 2011 and he was appointed as a project manager for Dukhan Beach House Project (the 1st Palace Project for HH Sheikh Tamim). The Project was a design and build turnkey and when successfully completed, it was very much loved by the Prince and his family. He then was assigned to lead the Design and of the following projects: Renovation and Extension of HH Offices in Dafna, Construction of Design & Build Oriental Majlis (Moroccan Style Highly Designed Majlis) at HH Sheikh Tamim Palace in Dafna, Extension of HH Sheikh Tamim Palace in Dafna, Modification works at HH Sheikh Tamim Palace at Isola Dana in Pearl, Modification Works at Alwajba Palace Club House, Renovation and Rehabilitation works at HH Sheikh Tamim Palace in Rumaila (Marmar / Sheikh Abdulrahman Palace) - Super Fast Track Project in 8 days. As Power International Holding then started to develop Retail Brands, Ammar was assigned the design and all engineering, subcontracting and procurement for the Aura Retail entertainment projects at Pearl and Ezdan (Megapolis, La Casa, Debs W Remman, Karaki, Diners Station, Cool de Sac, etc.). This evolved into managing the Aura Retail Fit Out at Mall of Qatar. This entailed the 5 star Fit Out of over 34 Retail Brands of Fashion, Food and Beverage and Foodcourt Restaurants. Ammar displayed an excellent professional leadership style, ability to manage stakeholders, not allow difficulties to prevent progress and administrate the contractual & commercial with the technical direction to the UCC Team and consultants was always reliable. Ammar’s abilities are exceptional & we would certainly re-employ him if an opportunity was available to apply his skills & leadership.
