Responsible for enforcing safety procedures in one of Capital Drilling projects which is a capital support services company
• Train and advice employees regarding environmental, health and safety aspects.
• Conduct regular routine inspections of all buildings, facilities and equipment for compliance with general and specific safety standards.
• Develop and implement on-site environment, health and safety protocols and procedures in accordance with capital drilling’s policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct on-site investigations of accidents and incidents involving fire, hazardous materials, unsafe situations and non-compliance issues, prepares reports and makes recommendations for procedural changes as necessary.
• Conduct planned task observations, competency based assessments and risk assessment.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures.
• Monitor and inspect site fire, safety and environmental equipment and facilities for serviceability and compliance with established regulations, policies and standards.
• Conduct and control meetings such as weekly safety meetings and monthly safety meetings.
• Conduct weekly HSE rigs inspections as well as monthly environmental inspections.
• Create Job Safety Analyses, Safe Work Procedures and Safe Operating Procedures.
• Make practical driving assessment for driving licenses in site.
• Conducted the company inductions for new employees.
• Review processes followed to ensure continuous improvement of the safety management system of the company.
• Maintain safety system in compliance and alignment with ISO 9001:2008-ISO14001:2004 -ISO 18001:2007 since 2015.

* Fulfilling local or international customers' requests and official and legal
requirements, establishing and reviewing quality, safety and vocational health goals
required to develop company's work and quality policy, define risks and hazards and
design a system to decrease such recurrent problems.
* Continuous training and awareness for staff to increase their aptitude & technical
capabilities to execute projects within the quality requirements & applying security
and vocational health plans.
* Oversees work permit (hot- electrical isolation - confined space … Etc.).
* Daily inspection to check scaffolds, cranes.
* Reviewing quality policy, security and vocational health if required.
* Implement and improve organizational environmental management system so that it
can maintain and improve its environmental performance.
* Prevent pollution and to continue improving and periodically review and revise plans
to reflect changing conditions and make sure it will be communicated to all
personnel.
• Assists in the design of full-scale health and safety practices to provide for the safety of the Occupants, staff, administration, and visitors of the project.
• Assists in implementation of National and International codes with respect to compliance
• Oversees the inspection and testing of Fire Safety equipment.
• Ensure regular inspection for fire safety related items of all areas of the project.
• Assist in monitoring of the Central Alarm equipment.
• Provide response to all fire emergencies and assist in direction and control of the Emergency Response Team members.
• Perform other duties of a similar nature as required.
