The 2, 400 MW Hassyan clean coal power station is an ultra-supercritical (USC) power plant being developed in Saih Shuaib, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Upon completion, the project is set to be the first coal-based power plant in the region. The project supports the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050, which is aimed at producing environment-friendly energy.

Position & Responsibilities - QA/QC Manager
• Preparing & ensuring that the requirements of the Project Quality Management System are established and implemented.
• Participating in project management meetings on issues related to the Project Quality Management System.
• Advising the Project Manager / Project Director on all current quality matters and developments, and areas of concern.
• As Company Management Representative (MR) also additional responsibilities for Monitoring & implementation of ISO in various Projects, / Scheduling for the Internal Audit & External Audit.

• Control over-all Quality Control records documents per project and assign traceability file.

This Midfield Terminal Building Project is built in the 700, 000 square meter terminal building is one of the strategic world -class infrastructure projects of Abu Dhabi and will be handling 20 Million passengers. This terminal will be the home of Etihad Airways which is built with nearly 75, 000 tons of steel structural. Passenger facilities and duty-free retail will include high end commercial offerings across more than 18, 000 m², including luxury goods & designer outlets, 10000 m² restaurants & cafes offering a wide range of styles & cuisines, Passenger facilities will also include over 27500 m² of airline hospitality lounges, a transit hotel, a heritage and culture museum.
This building will be constructed using approximately 75, 000 tons of steel structural, more than 680, 000 m³ of concrete, and nearly 500, 000 m² of steel and glass cladding, 135, 000 tons of rebar, 360, 000 m² of suspended ceilings and 325, 000 m² of natural stone flooring.
As a QA/QC Engineer Steel Structural duties & responsibilities.-
• Planning and Organizing the QA/QC monitoring program in accordance with the project scope of work and technical specifications.
• Review and approve sub-contractors QCP, Inspection and Testing Plan, Testing procedures, Method statements, PQR, WPS and review QC Dossier.
