B.sc (Physics) Kamaraj university affiliates Ayya NadarJanakiAmmalCollege, sivakasi, GULF EXPERIENCE: Working as Instrument Supervisor in United Engineering Projects LLC, Sultanate of Oman, from dec 2011 to Till Date. Client: Occidental Of Oman (OXY), Oil &Gas Field. A Subsidiary of Occidental Petroleum Corporation I have to completed for following projects, test separator, production separator, gas/vapor analyzer, oil and gas plant up gradation, shipping pump, shutdown jobs, production, ESP, gas lift, water injection, water source wells. Perform Testing, troubleshooting, loop checking, function checking and calibrating of various Instruments like Flow computer, Flow, Level, Pressure, Temperature Transmitters and Switches, Other Process instruments like SMART & HART Family protocol using 475, 375 field communicator. Involved in the functional tests, loop tests, calibration of the field instruments including water analyzers, interfaces with PLCs, Switchgear, interlocks, controller tuning according to the process requirements, instruments overhauls, vibration system, air intake filters for gas turbines, water & gas injection systems Performed managerial duties at the division level including preparation and the verification (at site) of the existing drawings, including the interface with various engineering disciplines during design/construction/commissioning developments. Review/ preparation of instrumentation and control design documents, P&IDs. instrument tubing, instrument material selections, control schematics, instrumentation wiring diagram, PLC Control Panels Design, instrumentation and control, cable lists, instrument loop diagrams. Provide appropriate settings for major instrument and control parameters to allow safe operation of plant and equipment, Ensure equipment erection & commissioning for safety critical items meets acceptable standards. Undertake installation and commissioning of pneumatic and electronic instrumentation on field facilities- ESDV systems, temperature/flow/level/pressure controllers. Resolved unusual problems which could otherwise delay the progress, made decisions under emergency commissioning conditions to solve problems and protect the teams and the plant. Conduct meetings to coordinate activities and makes frequent inspections to assure operations confirms to plans and are being carried out safely, efficiently and economically. Directed preparation of and reviews/approves forecasts for manpower, materials and supplies required, order tools, supplies and supporting service and initiates action to assure stocks are maintained at minimum adequate levels. Evaluated efficiency of operations, plans and implements improvements reviews the work program and assumes direct responsibility for carrying out individual programs. Maintained close liaison with the other Superintendents and Engineers and report observations and recommending necessary changes to work program. Reviewed and approved the comments report when appropriate and maintains accurate records of all activities carried out.
