- Planning and coordinating all check and test required to verify that operational systems
meets design requirements during and after commissioning from both QA/QC tracking and operational point of view
- Prepare and asses Work Plans and Engineering Work Packages from the radiological
safety point of view
- Radiation Work Permits assessment
- Equipment / system failure root cause analysis and investigation
- Radiation protection assistant as required
- In field daily / work surveys in both normal operation and planned / unplanned outages
- 2nd and 3rd Radiological Area waste monitoring for unconditional release
- Alpha, gross alpha / beta, gamma and LSC spectrometric systems calibration and use
- Internal, focused and second party audits as required
- Placing orders for supplies and services and QA/QC tracking
- Operational skills design and preparation of training materials; internally authorized
trainer and CNCAN approved examiner for plant personnel practical skills evaluation
- Design and implementation of working procedures according to ISO 9001 standard
- Cooperation with regulatory authorities for radioactive waste management (e.g. waste
handling, treatment, characterization and special decontaminations)
- Elaboration of reports for Environmental Agencies from the radioactive waste
management point of view (radioactive waste volumes, restricted metals under
REACH / biocides / ozone layer destruction substances / drug precursors reporting)
- Emergency readiness preparation (on / off - site radiological monitoring)
