Greenfield Scope

• Area Lead for four greenfield new built Gas production wellhead platforms.
• Responsible for finalizing layout, Equipment Arrangements, LLI material finalizations, space reservation for future scope studies for compression phase in line with operability, safety and HFE requirements.
• Participated in model review workshops, progress reviews with client, Project Management Team and discussion with vendors.
• Interdisciplinary co-ordination for comment close-outs, resolution of fabrication yard queries in timely manner.
• Responsible for piping engineering deliverables (Isometrics, plot plans, equipment layouts, piping GA).
• Reviewed 3D model based on Design Codes & company standards, P&ID, Safety & integrity, operation & maintenance, constructability, good engineering practices and client comments / requirements.
Brownfield Scope
• Area Lead for the brownfield modifications in four Gas production wellhead platforms.
• Responsible for finalizing brownfield modifications, Equipment Arrangement, piping routing studies (24” to 32” CRA cladded lines (LLI scope), 1500# to 2500#) and MTO updates in line with SIMOPS / shutdown requirements, constructability, operability, safety and HFE requirements.
• Responsible for piping engineering deliverables (Isometrics, plot plans, equipment layouts, piping GA, SP item list, Material Handling report, Tie in list, support layout and book) related to brownfield modifications.
• Led 3D model reviews in various phases (30% / 60% / 90%) with Client and Project Management Team and further comment closure.
• Identified scope changes from contract documents and FEED documents and resolved through of technical queries to Client / Projects.
• Participated in Tie-in workshops, Interface Agreement meetings, Engineering progress reviews, P&ID review workshops, constr¬¬¬¬¬¬uctability reviews.
• Resolved queries from fabrication yard in timely manner and ensured quality along with progress.
• Checked and corrected piping engineering deliverables from technical and quality point of view.

Modification of Al Shaheen oil & gas fixed production platforms situated at North-East coast of offshore Qatar managed by North Oil Company - Qatar Petroleum & Total JV.


• Executed the assigned work in accordance with applicable standards and procedures, and within the man-hour budgets / scheduled targets.
• Identified deviations in scope of work from Tender documents, estimated changes, prepared additional input requirements, raised Technical Queries, and recommended solutions for improvement.

• Flowline Projects for Platforms at Locations A, B, C, D, E & H
• Performed & reviewed flowline layout study and well-bay planning as per drilling sequence for Oil Producer, Gas Injection and Water Injection wells.
• Performed X-Mas tree installation study and drilling envelope study.
• Checked and issued piping engineering deliverables within scheduled targets. Interdisciplinary checks.

• De-bottlenecking Pipeline Project for Platforms at Locations A & F
• Performed riser / flowline detailed design under topside scope for pig launcher / receiver for 14” wet Oil and 20” Sea water Injection.
• Performed design check for all piping engineering deliverables from technical and quality point of view.
• Performed pipe routing studies, material handling studies following best engineering practices and optimization in term of cost, construction simplicity, operability and maintainability, HSSE.

• Spearheaded design team (6 - 15 designers) in PDMS & S3D for piping & support 3D model execution & Piping Deliverables Preparation for successful completion of 3 projects within deadline & budget.

• Finalized piping routing from study of Plot Plan, P&ID, Equipment layout, Vendor documents, Civil drawings, roads, hydra movement while considering safety, accessibility, constructability, maintenance and operations.
• Ensured technical quality, accuracy of work produced and completion of assigned tasks on time.
• Challenges include Steam Jacketed piping for Sulphur, hot water tracing & steam tracing for oleum.
• Reviewed plant 3D model from process, design, accessibility, maintainability aspects using Navisworks.
