Leading the Maintenance Business Unit in large construction group of companies. Maintaining fleet of 250 heavy construction vehicles including: trucks, concrete mixers, concrete pumps, construction equipment with team of 30 workshop personnel. Overseeing performance and technical activities of all maintenance crews in other company’s divisions. Technical verification and financial approval of maintenance department procedures. Mandated to overhaul workshop procedures leading to significant technical, performance and financial gains.
Managed the service centre that caters to heavy duty construction equipment industry. Company represents Putzmeister and Liebherr in the Gulf region. My duty was to oversee the performance of a team of 60 mechanics, 18 engineering and administrative support team members as well as implementation of Integrated Workshop Management and administration procedures.
Introduced new source of parts supplies from Eastern Europe realizing in 30% savings to the Company

Reversed the negative sales trend in a period of one year. Increased profitability and customer base for the region
Successfully changed the structure of two rival service centres by introducing personal customer adviser roles. Reduced competition between crews of mechanics and increased customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction increase from 95% to 98%.
Reduced labour cost by restructuring after hours stand-by procedure. Reduced overtime to almost zero hours per month.
Developed and maintained consistent training incentives for employees to increase technical knowledge and personal skills.
Created partnerships with our sister company-Volvo Bus Factory which resulted in eliminating unsold workshop hours in the Service Centre and immediate resolution of production flows on bus production lines.
Introduced special discount structure for service and parts sales according to the age of the vehicle (idea was implemented in whole CE European region). This action increased profit by 2.5% and retained customers with vehicles older than four years.
Revised customer notification system by introducing SMS notification to customer and/or driver about upcoming service date and special promotions. This action significantly reduced “no shows” and increase labour utilization parameter.
