• Responsible for assisting the assigned General manager with the execution of one or more simultaneous projects in accordance with a valid, executed contract, per company policies and procedures and work instructions for customized and standardized plants. • Lead Project Teams and facilitate the communication and interaction amongst the functional representatives as delegated by the assigned General manager. • Assist the assigned General manager in tracking the project against its schedule, budget and against phase review objectives. • To develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated eventualities. • Prepare periodic management and/or customer reports and presentations . • Coordination of engineering and field project teams . • Coordinate efficiently with clients, main contractor, sub-contractor. • Preparation and conduction of the Project Kick-Off Meeting. • Prepare and conduct Project Meetings . • Review and verify project estimates monthly (so-called project cost reports) . • Perform engineering calculations, review and approval of specification and drawings, commensurate with level of experience. • Prepare requisitions for equipment and miscellaneous items as required. • Provide feedback regarding employee performance on a project team to the functional manager for documentation. • Recommend new processes where needed for quality improvement, cost reduction and on-time delivery. • Responsible for the recording and monitoring the project costs including raising invoices, agreeing variations in scope of services and monitoring third party costs. • Project Engineer shall be responsible for ensuring that the project is managed in a safe and professional manner and is undertaken in compliance with all relevant Health and Safety legislation. • Assist the Engineering Manager in the desk top and site based assessment of new development projects. • Conduct any liaison or consultation with statutory authorities or undertakers as necessary to implement the construction of the project. • Assist in the design and placing of contracts with consultants for technical aspects of the projects. • Under take the role and duties of the Planning supervisor / project coordinator during the planning stage. • Assist in the preparation and execution of tenders and specification for all contracts required for the construction of the project. • Conduct technical inspections of structures, formations and other civil / structural elements of a project as required. • Conduct the design and supervision of civil or structural remedial works as demanded by a project. • evaluating others designs and construction methods.
