• Designing & implementing solutions related to inbound / outbound logistics operations, and reverse logistics for budgeted volume- GCC & Levant countries
• Member of the Supply Chain leadership team responsible for shaping up & communicating the department’s OGSM
• Responsible for Order fulfillment & Customer Service delivery (internal & external customers)
• Inbound /outbound fleet operations across GCC & Levant countries with cold chain management
• Outbound warehouse organization, its resources management & development at factory
• Inbound warehousing Returns /expired product management including & its disposal
• WIP materials/Crates & pallets management through primary & secondary distribution operations
• Health, Food & Hygiene/Safety Standard/AIB audit for all Warehousing operations
• Negotiations & finalization of contracts for various services with 3rd party logistics service providers
• Effectively work with multi functional resources (sales, export, S&OP, Industrial, administration, accounting and HR) to best achieve the department’s targets in GCC & supply planning of Finished goods
• Lead the recruitment, training and evaluation (PDR) of team in the aim of developing and retaining the best talents.
• Owns the organizational structure for logistics
• Preparing CAPEX & OPEX requirement, budget management, cost analysis and proposal development
• Project management with specific reference to warehouse expansion at factory & KSA branches
• Service level agreement with internal & external parties for deliverables

• Entire procurement & RM/PM material planning activities of more than 3, 000 items i.e. food ingredients, concentrate, packaging material, animal feeds, medicines, spare parts, farm seeds, fertilizers, equipment across the globe
• Effectively handling more than 70 vendors & imported purchase worth of nearly 10 Million USD
• Production & shop floor operation management of entire dairy factory
• Forecasting & planning, demand management of Finished Goods
• Entire Logistics, clearing /forwarding/freight mgt of all consignments through air, road & sea
• Warehousing operations of Finished Goods & RM/PM, vet vaccines & medicines at Refrigerated & Frozen temperature

Accomplishments include:

• Vendor management activities including development of existing vendors and introduction of new vendors
• Negotiated reductions in the cost of imported raw materials and packaging materials up to 10%.
• Worked on consolidation of imported cargo. Expected savings is approx. USD 50, 000 p.a.
• Successfully handled production up to 110, 0000 liters /day of 2nd largest dairy of Oman without any prior experience & dairy mgt .qualification

• Planning and Execution of entire outbound logistics consisting of 3, 000 MT per month from 4 Plants to 65 warehouses across the country
• Supplies to OEM customers as per QS 9000 Procedures
• Manage internal & external forecast process through centralized forecasting & indenting for manufactured products
• Responsibility of Inventory Planning & Control of 65 warehouses
• Finished goods warehouse management of Factory, Branch’s stores & Depot Management System
• ERP: Implementation of J.D.Edwards Enterprise Resource Planning System. Was the team leader for the planning module conducting business process analysis and model development
• Cross functional Interactions : With Marketing, Manufacturing and Quality Assurance to ensure smooth operations for launching new products, new packs and for developing specifications

Accomplishments include:

• Successfully implemented Single Freight Rates billing system for transportation
• Inventory carrying cost reduction from 65 days to 32 days
• Centralized Push System of Indenting for accurate production planning & forecasting
• Introduction of Mother /Regional Warehouse concept for small depots
• Reduction in Order Servicing Cost by instantaneous shipping information to Distribution centers
