Duties & Responsibilities
1. Responsible for effective implementation of quality assurance & quality management system in all activities of organization to ensure product meets specification and customer satisfaction.
2. Applying leading edge technology to food product and process development.
3. Developing methods to modify and/or improve existing products and/or processes.
4. New product development as per the market & customers demands.
5. Training of manpower for the SOP & SSOP of new product.
6. Complete project handling for the confectionery development & expansion.
7. Working with production personnel to move new or improved processes from R&D into the production plant.
8. Evaluating food safety concerns with products and/or processes.
9. Using statistical methods to plan development work and analyze results, presenting results in written and verbal format.
10. Cost reduction of the new & existing product through optimal usage of available factory resources.
11. Meeting Statutory & Regulatory Standards as per FSSAI, Weights & measures
12. Preparing, controlling & updating - Mass balance flow charts & BOM so as to ensure product is manufactured with SMP.
